Love my CZ 82. Best pistol I have ever bought next to my Glock 30.

And to stay with the spirit of the thread, I am going old school with this one.

A .40 flint lock my dad built over the winter:

That is incredibly beautiful. Does the musket shoot a minnie ball or a round ball?

Thanks! Actually, it is a copy of a Lancaster style rifle with a .42" bbl. Rate of twist is for a round ball, 1:66 inches and uses a 92 gr. .395" bullet doing about 1900 FPS, using a charge of 40 grains of FFFg powder. He is still getting it to sight in just right but it seems to be very consistent as far as accuracy.

And to stay with the rules, my Model 1895 Marlin in .30-30. Round 30" bbl. w/full length magazine, holding about 11 rounds!

And my K-31 is one of my favorite rifles. Deadly accurate!

Crossposted from the Longarms show and tell:

Ok, I'll play.

Presenting..."The Woodpile."

Image

About half of my firearms are wood-stocked long guns, which I keep in a glass-fronted gun cabinet I bought at the local thrift store. I am aware that this method of storage isn't as secure as it could be.

Image

From top to bottom: Mosin-Nagant M91/30, Mosin-Nagant M44, Russian SKS, Chinese SKS, Remington 870, Marlin 336C .30-30, Maadi MISR, and Norinco MAK-90.

Image

I also have an actual woodpile.

Image

I swear I have a bayonet for the 91/30. Not sure where it is.

Image

Communist shorties.

Image

And everything but the M91/30. Sorry for the redundant images; I'm just working on what framing looks best.

I have close-ups of the individual weapons, which I will post later.

And as always, if you're going to comment or reply, be sure to include a picture, because picture thread.

Got these two beauties for Christmas. It's nice when your mom has a friend who runs gun/antique auctions. They're in .45 and also came with a matching pistol as part of the set but my cousin got that. I already have a pistol in .50. I really need to go shoot them before the snow falls. The barrels are pristine.

Look at the marks. This is an authentic SMILL AND WELSON made in SPRANGFELD, MUS, EUA.

Probably Spanish, made for non-English speakers who wouldn't realize it was fake.

And a Belgian copy, that's the tightest top break I've ever seen:

Some old .44

The Smith & Wesson First Model New Century .44 Special. This is the target model. Made 1910. You probably don't want to know what one costs. But Elmer Keith said it was the finest revolver ever made, and goddam, he was right.
