ZS Hot or Not: Firearms edition (PICS AND LINKS ONLY)

Post by kyle » Thu Feb 24, 2005 10:56 pm

A few people mentioned that they wanted a thread dedicated to showing off your firearms. Well, I'll get one started. Only post threads with images of firearms. Unrelated posts or posts without images will be deleted by a moderator.

Please only post pictures of YOUR OWN FIREARMS. Not some collection you found on a google search. All of us here know how to use a search engine.

Also, try to keep them under around 800 pixels wide if you can. Scrolling to the right is for chumps.

Fingers off the triggers, folks.

Here's what you'll find in my apartment at the moment. I know it's sad. Don't laugh.

One slightly modified Yugo SKS (the duck-billed mag was just added for the picture), a Taurus PT945 and several hundred rounds of ammo for each.

Okie Dokie.

Here goes.

This is my anti-zombie arsenal, hence the war hammer and my beloved Estwing ax. For shits and giggles, I tossed in some of the more tactical ( ) knives in the collection. You really can't make out my vest, and it was too big of a pain in the ass to drag out all the magazines and ammo. Add about a hundred various magazines and about 4-5 thousand rounds of ammo, and you get the picture.

That's a new, cheaper AR, and yes....that is a laser attached to it.

Sue me.

While I need to drag everything out, I thought I might share the new addition to my arsenal...soon anyway. A new knife designed by Kelly Worden.

This is my current "grab and go" gear:

Image

This is in addition to my normal carry gear - Glock 17, holster, gunbelt, spare magazine (or two), multitool, Cold Steel Safekeeper 3, and, in my pockets, a cellphone, wallet, keys, and Smith & Wesson 642.

Wow...getting jealous not only of peoples toys, but their photographic skills over mine... so here are a couple of quick shots of my M14 (a little better than the "leaning against the wall" shots from earlier).

I picked it up this afternoon -- brand new Glock 19. It's really sexy in that tupperware sort of way.

Got this for $100. She's not exactly hot, but she's got it where it counts. The metal required some touch up blue and some minor file work (some jackass nicked the muzzle). I'm having a friend refinish the stock right now. This shotty was made in 1930! All in all, I'm totally happy.

I finally found some time this weekend to do this. Here goes...

Image

My Ithaca M37 and machetes - because the shotgun
didn't want to be photographed alone.

Image

Old school cool. More practical than tactical.
A Savage 99 (.300 Savage) made in 1928,
and a Rossi 92 in .44 Magnum - because there
will be more to surviving the apocalypse than
armed combat.

Image

The handgun contingent. Clockwise from
top left: Norinco 1911A1 .45; S & W 3rd Model
Hand Ejector in .44 Special made in 1926;
S & W Model 65 .357; and Webley Mk VI .455,
made in 1918.

Edited. The SIG 220R has it's own Range Report with photos, and my AR-15 has an updated photo on the next page of this thread.
