The pawn shop of happiness sent message last night that my latest class III purchase permit (AR with 10.5" barrel and pinned 6" can) is in. Only two more to go then I will be good forever.

Lemme guess...one of the cans you're still waiting on is for an M21 Beretta. Which .22 conversion kit did you go with for the shorty AR?

I will never be as awesome as Zantra.
Sadly I put my 22 can on a 22 rifle and pistol.
I mean I could take it off and put it on an AR shorty conversion to 22lr but that would mean buying an AR shorty conversion to 22lr, which would actually cost more than the current ones I own. Hopefully this hole in my preps will not allow me to over run by zombified hordes of rabbits and woodchucks and I won't have to resort to "long pork" sourced from raiders the first three weeks in to the PAW.

I've been meaning to get a couple suppressors. Probably a .22 to share between my .22s, and a .30 to cover all of my rifles.
I keep running into the dual problems of cost and confusion. Cans are obviously kinda expensive, and when I start doing research I end up with a massive spreadsheet of options and give up.

That's disappointing. Not even a plasma rifle in 40 watt range? No Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator ? WHERE'S THE KABOOM?
BTW I am strangely attracted to the YC-9

They have been threatening us with exoskeleton soldiers carrying hundred of pounds of gear for decades. All I got out of the deal was sore feet and Tarsal tunnel syndrome

From the WTAF files.
TTAG -Fashion Designer Launches Line of School Shooting-Themed Hoodies…With Bullet Holes
Be the hottest-looking person to be put on a watch list this fall when you walk around your neighborhood rocking Bstroy’s faded navy and white Columbine hoodie, distressed to look as someone had been murdered while wearing it.
And you’ll never look more fabulous than you will while wearing, and being viciously beaten for wearing, their green, bullet hole-covered Sandy Hook hoodie. You know, Sandy Hook…where first-graders were slaughtered.

What idiot or group of idiots greenlit this line of clothing and why did they think it was a good idea ?

I read the TTAG article and it just cemented my statement of the designers being idiots.
Actually, they're not idiots. They're a**holes. Major a**holes.
I'd like to call them that to their faces, but I'm thinking there's already a very long line of people wanting to do just that. Well, that and to punch them in the throat.

Off the subject of idiotic "fashion" designers, I found out today that one of my red dot optics is canted a bit. And it's not the mount that's canted, it's the housing of the optic itself.
Seeing as it's a budget optic (I think I paid about 40 bucks for it at Walmart), it's probably not worth wasting money getting it fixed, so I'll just deal with the canting as best I can.
All else fails, I can sell it (with full disclosure on the issue) and go buy a different one from another brand.

The Extar EP9 came home today. That thing is light as a feather and runs like a clock. You can't beat it for $440 delivered to the LGS. I shamefully bought a factory Glock 33 round magazine for the first time to go with it.

Could be a decent investment.
I still think you can get them cheaper depending on shipping

Yahoo - ATF Admits It Lacked Authority to Issue Legislative Rule, NCLA Condemns the Agency’s Attempt to Ban Bump Stocks Anyway
Washington, D.C., Sept. 18, 2019 -- Congress has not prohibited bump stocks, but the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) has made them illegal with a Final Rule issued without statutory authority. In a noteworthy development, ATF’s latest court filing admits that it lacked rulemaking authority under the Gun Control Act and National Firearms Act to issue a legislative rule. ATF thus now agrees with NCLA that the district court below was wrong on this point of law.
