Ok, someone at Ruger has to be a ZS member because I clearly remember wishing for them to bring back the PC carbine a few pages back or so. Either they heard me or this is just one weird coincidence.

I'm going with coincidence because I doubt Ruger is lurking around ZS looking for product ideas.

If they are, can they please make a Mini-14 that takes AR mags ?

There is no doubt that Ruger people are on forums reading. There was a similar thread on another forum/website a couple months ago... And people wanting Ruger to come out with a 10/22 that shoots 9mm from Glock mags, and some mysterious poster said "just be patient". Well... They weren't trolling or got lucky...

I'd like to think that someone or a group at Ruger reads the various threads on ZS and other forums and that's partially where they get ideas for their products.

Either way, it's neat they're bringing back the PC carbines. I figured they'd eventually do it because of the popularity of PCCs these days.

Now that you've said that, watch them bring out a PC carbine in 10mm.

No love for CZs? If they had a mag well for CZ mags I'd seriously consider buying this.

After reading more on the new PC carbine, I might have to pick one up at some point.

I've always wanted one of the original PC carbines, but they're hard to find and expensive when they do come up for sale.

Since the MSRP is 649, I wonder what the actual street price will be. I'm guessing it'll be closer to 550 or 600 bucks depending on the shop.

Just use a QC10 or New Frontier .45/10mm Glock lower.

Glock because Glock has the biggest chunk of market share, Ruger pistol mags because, well, they're Ruger.

CZ is way down the list, market-share wise, and unless you find yourself a Czech-ophile machinist willing to make them on his own...(I say this as a CZ-97 owner who loves it, lusts after a Shadow 2 for USPSA/3-gun, and still daydreams about the unicorn of a CZ-97B in 10mm).

You'll see hardware for M&P and SiG, maybe even Beretta 92 (with Big Army replacing the M9, there's about to be tons of used mags on the market), before anything CZ.

Ruger Introduces the Ruger Precision Rimfire Rifle

http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2017/12/foghorn/ruger-introduces-precision-rimfire-rifle/

Ruger is releasing an extension to their very successful Precision Rifle line, this time in a much cheaper caliber. The .22lr rifle uses existing 10/22 magazines, which is great for gun owners since that means spares are immediately available and dirt cheap. MSRP: $529.

....Bringing the big-gun experience to the rimfire world, the Ruger Precision Rimfire is a scaled down version of the Ruger Precision Rifle® and maintains the same ergonomics, trigger and manual of arms as the larger centerfire rifle. The Ruger Precision Rimfire is the ideal long-range shooting trainer and go-to rifle for your next rimfire match.

....To make the .22 LR chambering feel more like 6.5 Creedmoor, Ruger engineers designed the Big-Gun adjustable bolt throw technology. By simply removing a spring clip, shooters can change from a rimfire 1-1/2″ bolt throw to a short-action centerfire 3″ bolt throw, reducing the chance of short-stroking the bolt in competition. Identical to the Ruger Precision Rifle, the oversized bolt handle makes for positive bolt manipulation.

First the 9mm PCC from Ruger is FUGLY buuuuuuut I might get it. The price is ok, on the expensive side but could be worth it.

Second the .22lr Ruger is kinda cool but, wtf? The price range is way off. I mean sure if you wanted to shoot 800yds out the box, but this is a .22lr. Though it's cool with the take down bbl.

Only chumps pay MSRP.

That .22 Precision will probably end-up being around $125 moar than the regular .22 American w/ threaded barrel.

What's all this "Glock 19X" talk?.....looks like a G19 slide on a G17 frame.

Haven't guys been home brewing versions of these for years ?

Matter of fact, I think ZS is where I saw someone who took a G17 frame and cut it down to G19 size.
