Phew! At least sprinkle a little Hoppe's #9 around to kill the new chat smell when you open one up.

I dunno, but the length of a thread seems to go by feel. At least there is a new one.

Well for gosh sakes at least throw away your Gen IV magazines and buy Gen V ones. People in Austria need new Dolce & Gabbana Brown Crocodile Skin Oxfords.

Same here.

Maybe with the Gen 5's coming out now, the prices on Gen 4 Glocks will drop a little. Which is fine with me because I want to get a Gen 4 17 or 19 at some point. :D

I have an old revolver that has some sort of nice smelling lubricant on it. I often like to open the cylinder and sniff it.

I don't mind the finger grooves on my Gen 3 Glock 29, but the ones on my Gen 4 Glock 40 bother me just a little bit.

I was going to be polite and not mention it but...
This is why I had to open a new thread. The threads over and under this one were complaining about about all the hoppes and cosmoline in the hallway leading to the last thread.

That'll help with the new chat smell.

That's what that smell was ?

I figured it was just the lingering stench of Hokie-Troll and Zantra/Longy. Actually, it probably was a combination of all that stuff that caused the foul stench to spread outwards.

I really should get my CWP, it's stupid easy here now. You fill the form out and the local sheriffs office actually has to active search if you SHOULDN'T get one. Instead of the old way where you go in and have to get them to sign off on it. There's also no test (I personally feel that's kind of stupid).

I went and talked to the guys at the LGS I shop and how much classes are. For the intermediate classes it's one on one (very cool) but a minimum of 3 hours and its $100 an hour  So $300 for 1 class. They say they usually run a little long but if you book it they will make sure you get through the entire thing. However that's an expense I don't want to pay right now. What do classes cost where everyone is from?

$150.00. Less if you don't need to rent a piece.

Close to about $200 bucks out here. It all depends on the people running the classes.

Texas regs say there has to be a certain minimum number of hours worth of classroom time (I think it's like 6 to 8 hours, might be different now), but most of the classes out here tend to break for lunch and then hit the range after a bit.

Our State Senate voted to go to permitless concealed carry a couple months ago, now the bill is in some House committee. If it does eventually get signed by the Governor, we'll still be able to buy a CCW permit for use in other states with reciprocity.
