New Jersey restricts AR mags to 10 rounders, although can pin larger cap mags to limit capacity.

Asking for recommendations to meet these requirements.

Full Molle compatibility
Quality, I have other HSGI stuff..I understand it's you get what you pay for(usually)
Must work well with short AR mags, 10-15 rounders

Also looking for single mag pouches for my Sig .40 mags

Are you using full size magazines and pinning them?

Not at the moment. I bought a good quantity of quality 10 rounders before I realized I could pin the larger capacity.

A handcuff taco is the perfect size and can often be purchased with an attached pistol magazine pouch. The problem is they start at around $35 and go up from there.

You could get some of those mag couplers* and use some regular pouches. :clownshoes:

*Or are those illegal also?

Rick, also going to get the coupler and try a standard mag pouch

Rick, Ster, thanks!

If you or someone you know can sew, maybe look into altering a standard pouch by cutting it into top/bottom 10 round mag holders... ? Turn a 3 mag pouch into a 6 round pouch?

I'm drinking on my patio atm, so I'm not going to go check the actual pouches, but think of this:

1. Get 3 across 30 round mag pouch.

2. Cut sew the pouch shut so a 10 rounder fits snug at the top.

3. Cut/trim the bottom portion so a 10 rounder fits snug in the bottom

4. If needed, add something to keep the bottom mags in... Maybe just some shock cord looped over a button on the outside of the pouch?

Thanks oodles, if the first two recommendations don't work for me I'll give yours a try, although I really, really, really suck at sewing anything other than a button on.
