That's odd. Mine fit perfect, and every one we've sold did too.

Factory mag 1.235" front-1.250" rear.

BX-25 -1.265" front-1.286" rear

Rifle mag well 1.235" front- 1.264" rear.

So Zombie Squad, should I bust out the sand paper on the rifle or the mag?!

Or a plan C

EDIT

Sanded down the mag to make it fit pretty well.

Ooooo, you bought the plastic!

At least you can't blame me for that.

And what will be your next I-shouldn't-but-I-think-I-need-to purchase?

Eh, I dunno. I need to put a rifle together for my daughter, but she's not quite 3, so I guess I've got a little time. :P

Nice. :)

Stepdaughter wants a 15-22. Stepson wants a 12 gauge. But they're 13 and 15, respectively. I've got a start at least since I have a Mossberg 500, but it's got the 20" barrel rather than the longer trap/hunting barrel. But I can buy that and swap out conveniently, I suppose. So I suppose the 15-22 is the next on my list. Not sure when I'll have the scratch for that, though.

Someone convince not to buy a used Glock 22 for 370 bucks.

One of the many gun sites I visit on a daily basis has a bunch of ex-PD G22s (refurbished by Glock)and I've been contemplating adding a hi-cap handgun to my arsenal.

I suppose if they have any left next year (which is a possibility) I can get one in addition to the AK and 10/22 I've been talking about.

its a glock.

Get one if you want to add a .40, don't if you don't.

And speaking of unparalleled levels of mistake here's today's haul

Well, I decided to go for it and get the Glock next year. Yeah I'll have to add a new caliber to my preps, but .40 S&W ammo seems to be the most plentiful ammo in my AO right now ( which could change at any time) and seems to be pretty cheap.

I have been wanting a hi-cap pistol for awhile and for 370 bucks, I don't see how I'd be getting a bad deal. Assuming the guys I'll be dealing with aren't shady bastards who take my money for a Glock and end up sending me a Hi-Point.

Raxar, what exactly did you buy? The revolver looks like either an old Rossi (pre-Taurus) or Charter Arms.

The other two I have no clue.

That looks like the results after a felony stop on 3 gangbangers.

I think that's an RG .38, haven't seen one of those in years. Or maybe it is a Rossi.

/rage

Slickguns has turned into a cathole for retailers to relentlessly spam the same crap several times a day every day for months. I really liked how they added the option to get sent emails on stuff I was specifically looking for, but my inbox is stuffed with Herters 223 and Aguila rimfire (limit one box of 50 per day!) all the fucking time now. The other categories are no different, there's a new Hi Point carbine up every day from the same retailer. News flash: this is America, where we shoot ARs and ARs. Or sometimes we switch it up and break out the ARs.

A Hi-Point on a pillowcase of weed is like froth on a cappuccino. Yes, you do occasionally see one without the other, but that doesn't make it right.

I'd like to see the junk guns go away, just for like a year, so we could start seeing nice guns show up in crime. Who here wouldn't love to see a G26 on top of a rusty cash box full of loose hundreds? Maybe a roll of fifties towards one corner in a rubber band? It could have a nice TLR-1, too, the screws locktited with care. You could even include a hint of boresnake on the edge of the cell phone pic.

The black auto is a Haskell, a pre-Hi-point Hi-point with a steel frame, the wheel gun is an RG, which is a West German potmetal .38 and the SHINY SHINY Chrome auto is an old ass Lorcin .380

According to the receipt I paid $98 for the Haskell and $1 each for the two others.....

An RG? Possibly a Rohm? Kinda looks like the word "ROHM" on the grips, but I can't quite tell on my monitor. I believe Reagan was shot with a Rohm RG14 iirc, the only reason I mention it.

Yeah, Rohm made the RG's, they were the definitive line of saturday night specials in the pre-jennings/lorcin/raven era. I have to admit I know it's a turd but it's starting to grow on me.

LivelyToaster wrote:Is uhhh... there a particular reason you bought that stuff?
I wanted the Haskell to go with my stallard, and at the very least it should be an accurate and reliable .45 range gun for well under $100. They are actually fairly desirable among Hi-point guys because they're pretty scarce.

The other two were just part of the package deal, I figured I could sell them to pay for the lot.

Huh, I didn't even know there were hi-point guys... obviously people buy them, yes. Only hi-point I've had experience with was one someone had when I still went to public ranges. If you had that thing in a vice bolted to a table, pointed down range, and pulled the trigger with a steel bar straight back with both hands it would hit the guy next to you.
