Lucky Gunner - New Gel Tests!

Post by raptor » Thu Feb 13, 2020 6:57 pm

We have discussed the Lucky Gunner gel tests in the past.
A recap they have done tests on multiple calibers and ammunition in different barrel lengths. While these tests are NOT "the end all, be all" of gel testing they have done the testing in a relatively consistent manner which makes comparing brands, calibers and projectiles a bit more consistent.

They obviously invested a lot of time and energy into the testing protocol.

So yes YMMV; but if you are looking at 2 rounds they test at least the results in the test will be an apples to apples comparison.

Here is the latest in 2020:
Pocket Pistol Caliber Ballistic Gel Tests including .22lr .22 mag .25 acp 9mm MAK .32ACP

I really appreciate their work. Thanks for posting these! I was thinking of re-educating myself on some of their old stuff.
