Hello everyone, Just ordered a 1000 rounds of 5.56 with ten PMAGS. Three PMAGS for for my GHB, and the rest just to have. This might actually fall under EDC as I take my AR pistol everywhere I go; it stays in the vehicle.

Picked up a bunch of stuff in the past two days.

Yesterday I picked up a Glock 17 factory mag, a 150 round box of Frontier Cartridge company 5.56 ammo for my AR, a Magpul rail mounted QD swivel attachment and a medium sized pouch for a truck kit I'm putting together.

Today I picked up set of Vickers Glock 17 baseplates (all I need now is the dang Glock mag tool to pop off the factory plates), a Magpul Glock Pmag, and a CAA carry handle/sight combo for my AR.

Primary Arms had a Magul sale and I had a moment of weakness...
1. MOE K2+ grip. It is just like my current grip put the angle is reduced. It took five minutes to swap (Interestingly the screw switched from an allen to a flat). I played with it quite a bit and can say that it is a bit more comfortable than the standard. Sunday we'll see how she shoots!
2. Glock 17 magazines. It's good to have some training mags that I can shamelessly abuse.
3. A Glock 17 magwell. Didn't do my homework on this. Looks nice but doesn't work (unless modified) with the beavertail backstrap. I'm not giving up my beavertail backstrap. I'm not the craftiest, I may try to fix this but will probably trade it or something.

This thing is very helpful. It removes a lot of the wrist twist associated with a short AR-15. A+++ Would buy again!

  • 2 2x4s 8' long
  • 3 2x4s 10' long
So I could finally build this:

Image

(bought the hardware for it last year and never got the wood)
  • 50lbs of sand to fill sandbags for the range
  • 6 1x2s 8' long for my other target stands
  • 2 6" AR500 plates
  • 2 8" AR 500 plates
  • 2 10" AR500 plates
  • 6 chain sets to hang the steel from the above frame
(My wife is gonna kill me when she sees the bill, but I caught a BOGO sale)

Oh, and the target stand for the steel has been cat tested and approved:
