First post, and a request.

This being the welcome thread and all, I figured it would be best for my first post to be in here. I am a dedicated zombie hunter and movie patron, and have read several volumes of zombie related literature. Though I have no idea how exclusive your ranks are, I would ask to become a member of your infamous Zombie Squad. I do regretfully inform you that I have no actual zombie related combat experience, but despite this I hope to bring to the table is my extensive knowledge of zombies and other undead creatures through my experiences in literature and film. Please consider my application.

Oh, I should probably say hello too. I almost forgot that part.

Hello from upstate NY

Post by GySgtKnighthawke » Sun Mar 21, 2004 7:30 pm

Hello from Upstate NY,
Gunny Knighthawke here found an add for your forum on Raptorman's website. I am going to be portraying a zombie fighter in an independent horror film next year and I am playing a USMC gunny who is a HAZMAT expert and is doing observation with an Army National Guard unit when a zombie problem occurs. I can post more about it as it becomes available.

Hi there,
Thank you for the warm welcome I really appreciate it.

I will definitely keep everyone posted and oh while I think of it went on a photo shoot for the movie today it was a hoot! The fellows at the armory were VERY helpful and even got in on a few shots. Made friends with them all. That is a good thing. It is nice to make new friends wherever you go oh and incidentally I got engaged to my sweetheart Robert 5 weeks ago so I, I should say, we are VERY happy.

Will you be able to post any of the photos from the photo shoot? It sounds really awesome. There aren't nearly enough zombie movies made these days.

Post by GySgtKnighthawke » Tue Mar 23, 2004 7:40 am

Hi all,
Well hopefully if I can get the permission of the gracious moderators I can post a few of the pictures. You should have seen me boy did I look kick ass. I forgot to take some pics of my fake tattoos. One of the guys I worked with showed me the huge tattoo that covered his back when i asked how much that drained him I was like holy moly!! But anyways it was fun I plan to go on another one. I might make a mini film if I can get my hands on a camcorder of sorts. Anyways I got to scoot got to work today got places to go people to see things to do. Later.

Going on another photo shoot this week

Post by GySgtKnighthawke » Sat Mar 27, 2004 3:21 pm

Hi all,
I am going on another shoot this week. A few of the pictures didn't turn out and I was disappointed. Probably going Thursday if not Friday. Gonna be a lot of fun if you ask me. Anyhoo, the movie is being shot in upstate NY so if you want to travel here to be in it it's fine by me.
