Greetings from the great state of NC

Post by McArther » Tue Feb 13, 2018 2:45 pm

To start off with, I like holding hands and talking about feelings... oh, wait! Wrong site!

I am a bearded man of unparalleled masculinity, that is!

While I'm not stockpiling munitions and MREs in my secret underground shelter, I do see the wisdom in a certain amount of preparedness.

I make a lot of my own custom gear. It makes for a pretty neat hobby. ...also, I'm poor.

Welcome to ZS, McArther.

I think you'd be surprised how many people here are in a similar boat as you in terms of where they are on the whole prepping continuum.

Welcome to the forum  . Being poor doesn't mean you can't be prepared it just means you have to think outside the box. I find when you get creative and make things yourself they either work better thean the premade stuff or you at least learn what doesn't work and why. This can be very useful. Don't be afraid to fail it's part of life.

That depends entirely on your pain threshold and the amount of effort you are willing to put forth!
