Hello, all

New member. Retired Navy officer, RN and life coach (really need to settle on a career). My wife and I are doing the whole "urban homestead" thing...slowly. I hope to get some different perspectives on preparedness.

Welcome to ZS and thank you for your service.

This guy has some interesting perspectives on prepping in an urban environment.

I'm assuming you're not out towards west Texas, due to the lack of the words "desert", "blazing heat", "dry as Hades", etc.

Welcome!

Welcome from the MidWest :) . Good luck on your urban homesteading. Would love to hear you post about it on here as another city dweller! Really like your tagline, by the way

Well...it's Abilene, so it's west Texas enough. Sunday we should start moving away from triple digits. It's 1030, right now, and it's already pushing 100 on my patio.
