New Lady Prepper

Post by ARfairy » Wed Dec 12, 2012 8:39 pm

Hi

I'm a single lady who's from up North, hanging out in SE Louisiana- for now... I'm new to prepping, but I've been shooting for a couple years and love AR's..

No kids - yet, but I do have a little dog, I like big dogs too; just lack space at moment.

Sense I'm new to the South (for the most part) I don't know many people down here (I don't go to bars) but I'm hoping I can make some cool friends here.
I love to cook and want to learn how to preserve food and all that other good stuff that goes with prepping.

I will make mistakes, I don't know a lot about guns or prepping, but I'm here to learn - not be a poser who thinks they know everything before they read the post, although, sometimes I read the first message and then post to help myself stay on topic; had to give myself a way out of messing up lol.

I think that is a pretty good opening/intro post, so if you want to know more :words:  I love Smilies 8-)

Actually I think under some circumstances people sometimes don't even know themselves, but that's a bit existential for this thread.

Well, I do want kids, I was actually referring to why I don't have any big-dogs (pets) my dog is a toy schnauzer named Nemo..

Yea, maybe I was trying a little to brazen with that huh. Well, I am kinda looking. Seems like all the ones I've talked to are against the mere thought of a female with a gun much less her own. So I said the he11 with dating. Just gonna learn all I can and see where I end up lol :P

Thanks for the warm welcomes everybody :)
