Re: Ultimate ZS Battle/Scout Belt Thread

Gents\Ladies & Germs: My current (SafariLand) holster will not hold my pistol (USP 45) in its current configuration. I have extraordinarily long arms and not a lot of spare room on my (Not as cool as SigBoy's but cool to me) belt. I want a bit (Just a bit!) of a drop. Do any other manufacturers mak...

I feel like 'less than 9mm' means 9x19.. shouldn't that leave 9x18 on the table? The Mak is always a good choice...

Re: Indecisive, HELP!

The Sig P320 has some good ambidextrous controls /ergonomics for a lefthander, and is available in a compact or subcompact, although the bore axis is a bit high. That said, seems like the M&P would be a good one to try for the same reason, but you mentioned you're already pretty familiar with them. ...

War Belt / Battle Belt Holsters and Mounting Options

It seems that there are a bewildering number of options for holsters for these types of belts and further numerous ways to mount them depending on the belt. I was wondering if we could consolidate some of that info here? For example, a lot of people seem to be running the G-Code OSH holster with dif...

Re: Tactical Nylon/Gear Chat

I'm looking for a Poor Man's Safepacker holster. To explain, the Safepacker is a folded pouch that covers your pistol and can be attached to a hipbelt on a backpacking ruck. I'm looking for something similar. Maxpedition also makes one, but it being Maxpedition it screams gun in any color. Ideally ...

Re: Turn your Glock into an SBR.

I think we can agree that putting a Glock in a chassis with a stock offers some advantages. The real question is whether those advantages are worth the cost. For a PDW size setup that fits in an every day bag, I think a person can make a rational choice for one. The Paris attacks likely have people...

Re: Concealed Carry: BUGs vs Mags

So, this might not be pertinent, but... I get the feeling sometimes that people don't carry spare mags because they don't have a way to carry them. Should we talk about ways we carry extra mags, or is that a separate thread? I have a few metal mag carriers from Safariland and KZ. They are very low p...

Re: Great Zombie Armor Under $500?

You see IMTV and MTV and KDH carriers with soft armor included on ebay for upwards of $150 used, more like $400-700 'unused'. If you bid on one that's a little overly used looking... I assume that stuff followed someone home from the base or got surplussed out, but it's your tax dollars at work. Kee...

You two blue- posters have made my day. Hilarity.

Since Dugan Ashley stopped posting Carnik Con, this type of humor is harder and harder to come by.

Re: Turn your Glock into an SBR.

If you're going to pay $200 for a stamp, shouldn't you spend it on performance rather than looks? The same stamp could be spent on an actual sbr with rifle performance. It's like, do you want a car and another barely better car, or a car and a helicopter? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk Yeah b...

This is sort of off topic. But it's my thread. So owe well. lol. I have one of the earlier Gen 1 or 2 of the Glock .357 SIG without the rails for a light ect. What can be done about that? What are my options? Is a newer gen frame even a possibility? My grandfather gave it to me many years ago. So I...

Re: Turn your Glock into an SBR.

Everyone keeps comparing this thing to a pistol caliber carbine. The advantage to the pistol caliber carbines is barrel length and the stability of a stock. This thing incurs the cost of the tax stamp because of the stock and then leaves you without a longer barrel. It's half the sex for twice the ...

Re: Turn your Glock into an SBR.

If you want to take a pistol and stretch it's effectiveness out to 75 or 100 meters, get a 357 Sig barrel and practice, practice, practice.
