Re: Firearms and Accessories in the Bug Out Bag, or Separate

Separate. In a range bag. I am on campus and have to lock up my toys when I'm not in my car. If I had to leave without my vehicle I would transfer whatever I felt I needed to my GHB before departing.

Re: My Bug Out Bag / INCH Bag

I have a rush 24 as a GHB and a rush 12 for EDC/campus carry. How do you like the waist strap on the 72? I run a 70 ounce omega in mine, how's your 3l fit? I find anything starting to weigh in near 30 lbs and I'm thinking of moving my loadout to my Hellcat. (Large Alice, external molle frame, Molle2...

Maybe I got lucky, but I ordered 500 rounds 9MM on 6/2, received them today the 10th.

8 days from TX to OH, no complaints here.

Re: All purpose "Help me build my AR" thread.

Every time I venture over to PSA I have to immediately remind myself I still need to buy 1500 rounds of 9mm for a weekend pistol class in June.

I then sadly exit the website, having bought nothing.

I end up at freedom munitions looking for daily deals on 9mm.

Re: What's the furthest you've traveled on foot in a day?

Crucible during boot camp, almost ten years ago. Fifty some odd miles over the course of two days. I'd guess we averaged 25 miles a day or so. That medium alice was stuffed to the brim... Two weeks ago my rounder civilian self did 12.3 miles for a fitbit daily challenge. I'm going to go buy one of t...

Re: How \ Where do you store your magazines?

Ruger 10/22 and SR22 mags are stored empty in gun safe. I consider these training and range guns, so no need to store loaded or stashed about. I have about 5 extra G19 mags loaded with ranger sxt located throughout the house. Each EDC pistol bag(2) has 3 loaded mags, with a few empty glock mags rest...

Re: Augason Super Tanker after 2 years

Good news.

I figured water would be good for two years under ideal conditions, I'd just be worried about my garage floor settling even further after holding all that weight (basically a ton) in one corner spot for two consecutive years.

Re: Real (first?) world problems

I carry a rush12 everyday for campus/EDC and I have a pair of rush24s for GHBs. Plenty of bag for the money.

Any quality daypack would be good to about 30 lbs before you start wanting something with a frame and waist belt.

Re: Building a battle belt

Nalgene canteens look to be about seven dollars a piece on amazon.

Molle canteen pouches run about 10-20 bucks each on eBay,depending on color and condition. ACU is cheap, NOS woodland (!!!) more expensive, etc...

Would include links, but I'm on my phone.

the Nalgene canteens are top notch, I really like mine. I use usgi molle canteen pouches, perfect fit. I went with the dsu colored pouches and dyed them a puke-piss-OD green, but they look okay lol. also have a condor h harness, not a bad piece of gear to toy around with, will definitely need it wit...

Southpaw here, running an AR15 wrong handed with no problems. No fancy ambi switches or dual sided charging handles. I just do everything the wrong way. Been living in a right handed world my whole life, why change.

Re: Building a battle belt

Pick up some glock 17 mags for reloads. they are longer, easier to grab, and hold two extra rounds each. 25 bucks or so online. My battle belt currently consists of a blade tech holster, glock 19, 3 pistol tacos, two glock 17 mags, and two ar mags in a x2r taco. The empty pistol taco is great for a ...
