Not at the moment. I bought a good quantity of quality 10 rounders before I realized I could pin the larger capacity.

Recommend molle mag pouch for 10 rounders please

New Jersey restricts AR mags to 10 rounders, although can pin larger cap mags to limit capacity. Asking for recommendations to meet these requirements. Full Molle compatibility Quality, I have other HSGI stuff..I understand it's you get what you pay for(usually) Must work well with short AR mags, 10...

Re: So you are a hobbit enlisted in a war band, weapons?

Remember I said European bows, not African, Asian, or American, I also said they were hobbits not small humans. Those African pigmys are much stronger than a Hobbit would be. I would like to point out those pigmy bows are for small game hunting not anywhere near armored human opponents, lions, tige...

Yes, Roo I saw it last night-was going to do a thread but you already did it.

It is an incredibly intense movie. Great cinematography But hard to talk about without giving away spoilers.

Re: Several must read SCi-fi based Apocalyptic novels

A few recently published recommendations. The Waking Gods, Book 2 of the Themis files by Sylvain Neuvel The first book, Sleeping Giants doesn't have much regarding TEOTWAWKI or apocalypse, but the second book..like umm, some badass shit happens on a wide scale. The Boy on the Bridge , I haven't read...

The Girl With All the Gifts movie

I watched The Girl With All the Gifts on Amazon prime last night. Based on the Novel by the same name. A hidden gem. Movie didn't get a ton of PR however IMHO it's brilliant. Stays mostly true to the book plot. The cinematography is great. The girl lead is impressive. I highly recommend it, and it's...

Coffee, Coffee, coffee, and coffee. I have it available in all forms and everywhere, bags, car, home, work etc. If I'm drained after depleting my adrenaline reserves with all that coffee, 5 hour energy for anything requiring several hours focus time. Keep that stuff everywhere. I also pack bakers ch...

Re: Robot Uprising - Or, what to do when AI Does All The Job

On a speculative fiction slant I started this Sci-Fi apocalypse novel thread a while back, https://www.zombiehunters.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=92879 and the first two books mentioned are Daemon & Freedom by Suarez which deal with complex algorithms/pre AI taking over. Both are definitely worth ...

What bug-out/survival items have you bought, traded for, received as a gift, or otherwise acquired recently? Inspired by the long-running thread in Firearms. Extra imaginary bonus kudos points for pics. Today i received the KA-BAR BK 7 and also took possession of the Remora (BK13) neck knife... htt...

Re: BOV replacement shopping - it begins

Well, after more thought about it, a few more reviews of the Pathfinder (and the CVT tranny in it), and some financial calculating, I think we're going to scratch the Pathfinder off the list altogether. Every review I've read dislikes the tranny, plus I've found that the "4x4" on it isn't really ve...

+ 1 on sharing the condensed milk secret  I carry can or two of condensed sweetened milk in my prep supplies. Great for a civilized cup of coffee or even quick energy booster by itself. I will take a sling. Yea the same ones they use in the Bible. String, leather patch, rock. It's light, ammo is very available, you can carry a long distance sling and a short distance sling as a headband just like the ancient Greeks. They are suprisingly accurate and deadly. You have use of both yo...

Re: The Colony sci-fi series (on USA Network) discussion

I haven't watched any of season 2 yet, I need to get caught up. But yeah, year 1 was pretty interesting. It was kind of annoying how the aliens went back and forth between competent omnipotence (when they took down all the world's defenses in what, 45 minutes, I think they said?) but just one alien...

The Colony sci-fi series (on USA Network) discussion

Lets discuss The Colony sci-fi series on USA Network. Alien invasion apocalypse. Now partway into season 2. One of my daughters and I absolutely love this show. What we like so far. 1) Premium production values with sharp cinematography 2) Multilayered plotlines with plenty of breadth and depth. Sea...
