Re: Being shot during civil unrest: When Police goes wild.

By not going to protests and standing up for one's self you're just going to allow those with an absolute authority of force trample all over your rights. It's the duty of every free person to stand up for these rights in order to continue being free. Just look at what happened in Nevada with the B...

Oh wow...I would love it, if only to be at total opposites of everything else with two wheels on the road right now.

Sensible=sexy? Yup! Add panniers on them racks, a fore-mounted trunk or pelican type case above the front wheel and hasta luego suckas!

Re: I Need a good X-box Zombie game

Yeah, State of Decay don't play. One of the most stressful moments ever... being chased by a horde, cardio/stamina meter is drained, and all I could do was dodge... all the way back to the church. I was actually standing up, shouting at the tv, cheering my dude on, and made it back from the center ...

Re: I Need a good X-box Zombie game

State of Decay, on Xbox arcade. Not a FPS, but a really well done third person an open world sandbox game that pretty closely mirrors the dynamic of The Walking Dead. Gathering food, building supplies, firearms/ammo, finding survivors with skill sets, finding/upgrading new locations for a base, and...

Good thing they do not practice marksmanship much I guess, what with bullets being expensive and all. Any chance any of the alphabet soup ag...

Seen this before. Yeah, great so long as you have enough preps for as long as uncle Zed decides to camp out moaning at your doorstep I don't know ... I guess it must be neat to have the ability to seal it all up like a vault, but is there any reason why they just placed it at such an apparently open...

Re: The USMC ILBE Pack

One thing I dislike about this is people use it for a bug out bag. If I saw this from a long distance and I had a rifle, it'd be a target to me. A- how do you plan on seeing this well camouflaged pack from a long distance? B- you plan to randomly shoot everyone you come across who has nice gear? No...

Mr. Dark's trailer idea is great except for the part about the Arizona sun. I it were me I would file a police report about the asshat that threatened to to kill you and take your stuff. Re: Drug-induced Zombies

I posted a story on this some years ago when the Russians or one of their neighbours were having trouble with this stuff on their streets. It's scary to see it landing in the west now. Of course I knew it was coming, the drug is allegedly very cheap to produce and consists of contents very difficul...

I read in a news article where the father of the motorcyclists that got ran over was "distraught" at the fact that his son would never walk again (he was said to be a parpalegic now, after getting ran over by the Range Rover). Re: What birds are safe to eat?

Robins are a popular game bird in England, much like quail in the US, so I'm sure that homeless fellow was telling the truth. Are they? No , certainly not since the 1950's. BCAS Quarry Guide has a list of legal quarry in the UK if anyone is interested. Rook is good, at least, fledgling rook is. A t...

1hr/dirt road= 45miles (Aprox) maybe 2 days hike out based on terrain and weather (hills, flat, etc) since it is from only 1hr from where I live, I know this area like the back of my hand. I wholeheartedly agree and believe me I understand how the firearm Need vs. Want threshold is such a dangerous –and easy to rationalize- money trap.
