Can you have too many guns?

I have been asked this many times and I always have the same answer.

Can you have too many guns?

Only if you are swimming.

Re: Mountain man invades cabins

Dup post, this was covered over - what - a year ago, when this was news-ish. Dude is in the slammer IIRC. Just goes to show - don't leave anything out and count on it being there when you need it. The article is from Feb 2012 so it could not have been covered over a year ago. The issue is not just ...

Not sure I put this in the right topic if wrong please repost and my apologies. This guy is in Salt Lake City area. This could be the kind of people we have to deal with in a SHTF scenario or PAW. If you look at the comments from people on the link you get a weird view of what people think about wha...

Re: Recomend a mid-size revolver

Smith K or L Frame guns are mostly good. GP100 also good but harder to find holsters for some applications. a lot are coming on the used market but you have to know what to look for in a revolver to make sure it is not out of time. When Revolvers fail it is not just a parts issue most of the time th...

Re: Small last ditch survival kit project, needs reviewed

To me a lot of things have been covered but one thing that I put in all my small kits (and large) is a tool that is often overlooked and has many uses. It is also small and light in weight. It is-----------------the Pencil sharpener: 1. Sharpens pencils-that was easy 2. Makes great tinder for fire b...

Re: Do firearm increase in value over time?

Well depends on how you define time. The Walther P-38 that you could buy in 1968 mail order from the back page of Guns and Ammo Magazine for $29.95 plus 15 cents shipping is now in the $500 range as long as you did not leave it out in the rain for 40 years. So for the most part you can expect them t...

Re: Folding SKS bayonets: Legal mod or jailbait?

When I was in the gun business in the 90s I had an importer call me as they were ordered to take all the bayonets off their Chinese made SKS rifles before they could sell them. He had thousands of them and wanted to know if I had interest in buying them as they had to get them out of the building as...

Re: AK47 magazines

there used to be a chinese made stripper guide that fit over the top of the mag and let you use SKS strippers to load. Worked pretty good. I have at least one but since most of the ammo I get is not on strippers I have not used it much since. I did a quick search and found this on utube. not the way...

Cal Expo Gun Show Sacramento march 3RD and 4TH

Gun show this weekend at Cal Expo. Gun prices are not always the best but MiWall ammo will be there and have great prices and lots of ammo. If you see a gun at a table passing out info about Sacramento CCW training that will be me. With the beard and mustache-ok and kind of big.

Well since I do not know where point A and B are or what is in between it is hard to say but the one thing I always profess to carry is very small and light and usefull. The simple plastic pencil sharpener for making fire starting material. Weights very little, cheap at under $1.00, very hard to hurt...

Welcome Dave I live in but work in SF (San Francisco for you out of state people) a lot. Anyway welcome and l...

Re: Steripen Sidewinder=Self powered unit-just crank it

Well I have a Steripen battery model and it works great. My concern was with the crank portion of the unit and how well it was made. This would be a great unit for a bug in type issue if the crank will last. It is stated that it will do 8000 liters with is great. I was hoping they had a spare bulb a...

I Googled it and found the item at many other sites. Price seems to be around $100 with shipping from most places but found one seller on Ebay for $79.95 shipping included.
