Classic Firearms because they have the coolest videos and giveaways. And this time, I'm going to win that CZ Scorpion, dammit.

Re: EOTW & Dystopian Movies that Actually Helped Your Prepping
Welcome to Zombie Squad and I must say; a very intriguing question for your first post. Well done! This is probably more abstract than you were looking for, the movie Take Shelter helped me understand importance of keeping my preps on the down low. No so much because it'll make you a potential targe...

[snip] From SHTF Blog : 13 Ways to prepare for a contested election I agree with his 13 things. I think most Zs'ers are already there on many . So much so that I found that article kind of disappointing. I mean, thank you for sharing MPMalloy, seriously. But it’s the same general advice that would ...

Re: The Stand (2020)
Ugh, this needs to be on HBO or Showtime to do it justice. It'll suck on CBS. Agreed. Or AMC. Or Netflix. Or an Amazon original. I've outgrown network television. Ironically, I'm rereading The Stand right now. I last read it as a 16 year old. I won't say exactly when that was, but suffice it to say...

Went with the KLR. Got a great deal on a new one. And just to make you feel even more terrific about your choice, an article about the M103M1, the militarized diesel version of the KLR. https://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/24/automobiles/24KAWASAKI.html My favorite line from the article: Shifting throug...

Astonishing levels of negligence/incompetence on multiple levels. When thinking of appropriate punishment the words "inner ring of Hell" comes to mind. Perfect backpacking comes with experience also and the main problem we would have how to fit folding stools are chairs. need to think of that any ideas folks ? the best way to fit it in backpack? I've always been one to use a camp pad or a piece of footprint to sit on, however, some do choose to ca...

I think I might have been the guy that talked SCBrian into getting and reviewing the Amazon Basics frame pack. I agree that if you can get an inexpensive pack for $40 or so, there's something to be said about going that route to learn what you like and don't like feature-wise. Here's one current low...

What watch are you rocking these days? Looks like you went from a Timex Expedition Easy Set Alarm to a Citizen Promaster. Can't ID that model in the latest set of thumbnails. Oh, do tell. What specific bourbon did you get? A bottle of Blanton's (I’m down to my last one plus a finger or two of another), One of Eagle Rare, and one or two Weller 12...might be able to get me an EH Taylor as well. Well fixed on everything else, just running low on my preferred Bourbon and go...

Some booze? Traded a few hundred rounds of 300BLK and 9mm to a friend in exchange for a couple bottles of some Bourbon I’ve had trouble finding for awhile. He’s also gonna take some of my reloading supplies I haven’t had time to work through and roll us both some more 300BLK. Oh, do tell. Wha...

I don't know about shelters but having my own park like land to walk around on when all the parks, restaurants and entertainment venues were closed has been priceless. There is no replacement for breathing room. If I had to sit in my storm shelter all day I would be depressed. Can't argue with you ...
