I just received the used S&W Model 10 I ordered from budsgunshop.com. Already sent email to verify if it's too old for +P

Neo Nazi's getting any type of official foothold anywhere is troublesome. I am also curious about how many people from other countries are showing up in Ukraine to fight.

Talking about the potential of an AWB and how it will interfere with present or future prep's, completely legitimate. Talking about how you joined "X" lobbying organization because you desire "Y" legislation being passed/legislation being prevented, that getting a little close to political. For inst...

Re: Prepper armor

It just seemed that there were so many ridiculously convenient plot devices for the main characters. Randomly save a family? Good thing the husband is a blacksmith and the wife is a horse trainer. Randomly run into a guy in the woods? Good thing he is a cheery ex-British SAS and an experienced trad...

Re: Prepper armor

Has anyone on here read the any of the "Dies the Fire" series of books? Essentially a world in which all firearms and the physics of certain higher forms of energy (electricity/combustion) are rendered more or less useless. I couldn't finish the first book. The writing was bad and the characters we...

Re: Mars: The Ultimate Bug Out

The first explorers will need to be selected for specific traits. After time, you will need folks who are suited to the labor of building and maintaining the industry. Folks who can man the smelters/foundries/food service/etc. Do you see the highly educated folks going to Mars to be a cook? A plumb...

Re: Mars: The Ultimate Bug Out

On a side note. Remember the early history of the Americas and Australia. I wonder if Space travel becomes cheap but regular people are still reluctant to become Martian colonist that some governments would turn to prisoners. Just like Australia and the Southern US colonies under British rule, I wo...

Re: Girl kills range instructor with Uzi

I feel very sorry for the instructor and I think a lot of the new media are missing the point, it was an accident. No one called for an end to flying after flight 370. I've been flamed for saying this before, but I'll say it again: with firearms, there are no accidents--only negligence and malfunct...

Re: Prepper armor

What is essential? Assume for this question, protection from firearms is not the question, and also the user is not using them. I don't like to wear a jacket/coat unless its cold because I feel it restricts arm movement too much. I figure it'd be best to get some kind of protective vest, some arm b...

Re: Jurassic Park make-believe

But can you imagine the damage a 40 ton brachiosaurus on a rampage could do? Or a herd of triceratops on a stampede. That's a job for something much bigger, preferably mounted on a Humvee a good distance away. I have trouble believing the largest dinosaurs could rampage. Doesn't mean they couldn't,...

Re: Do gas masks have a legitimate purpose in your preps?

With the in mind as both correct and good advice, I would disagree to some extent. If you live near a chemical plant, railroad or other industrial site where HAZMAT material is stored a good quality, functioning gas mask may be a life saver in the event of a HAZMAT spill or fire. In this case a goo...
