What is the normal reaction to being shot three times in the chest with 9mms while wearing armor?

^I think that was supposed to be in blue text.^

If it's the only gun I'd own I would take the pistol, since I would also carry.

Most self defense shootings happen real close up. If there is a struggle, the gun will be right up on him.

In the spirit of this game.

I have terrible vision. I would be functionally blind. I have asthma and allergies. I would be miserable half the year.

Most the knowledge I have I would have trouble taking advantage of because of how nearsighted I am. It really would be miserable.

Re: Ukraine unrest

Think about it this way. Would the US be willing to risk nuclear war with Russia over ensuring the sovereignty of said countries? If the anwser is no then said countries will have to look to their own defense, NATO will collapse and we get to go back to the pre WWI mess of alliances, except this ti...

More on the spreading ramifications of the Ukrainian crisis: http://news.yahoo.com/ukraine-crisis-prompts-german-debate-restocking-military-134941862--sector.html Looks like Germany is following in Poland's footsteps and looking to reorganize and expand its laughably-equipped military. Re: Firearms Chat 3: #pewpewlife

I'm actually mostly okay with the idea of a FOID. If I want to sell a gun, I can get a yes/no from ISP almost immediately with just a name, DOB, and FOOD number. I won't say I agree with all the gun laws here, but the FOOD is something I think IL did mostly right. CCW permits are expensive though. ...

Flip the ITW upside down. In other news, I has my FOID. One month turn-around ain't bad. Damn, dude, you're good. Chimp's right, I'm describing an upside down one. I assume that you just grab the mag and yank it up/down/sideways, however it's oriented, right? What's a FOID, and why should a month b...

Most districts have, at least, a religious exemption, which has been greatly abused in many areas, imo. I don't know if mine did. God damn, even the Amish vaccinate. You don't want your precious snowflake vaccinated for religious reasons? Homeschool the kid. Probably didn't want him around that dev...

I was just talking about the Oregon Trail video game the other day. Thank you unvaccinated folks for allowing me to live the real life version. Funny you should mention that. I saw this article. Manual typewriters may be making a comeback. When the USA and USSR were having their space race, and mutually discovered that zero-gravity meant traditional ball point pens wouldn't work in space, the USA spent a ton of money on research and develo...

Looking for holsters for my S&W Model 10, and so first I go to safariland. Go through their tool to find a holster, and notice a couple that had the trigger uncovered. Anyone know why they'd design it that way? I know it's a heavy trigger, but you think they'd still cover it with a little leather. h...
