Re: Toyota Previa as BOV questions.

the factory superchargers were needed to help it get out of its own way. The NA I4 does not have enough power to move the vans bulk, so fuel economy suffers. Expect around 18mpg. The only advantage it has over more common rigs Is you'll probably be rocking the only one. Ecomodders has some tips for ...

Re: How far would you go for a loved one?

You can call me Mr. 25/8 . Dying for them would be easy. Burn down the world, sure... But, I'm also willing to...

Re: Monkey Attack

IF I were attacked by one of these things, I would not try to out run it. It is going to catch me if I run in a straight line for safety since it is much faster then me. I would try to put as many obstacles as I can between me and it and run zig zag. After doing the folowing research I'm pretty sur...

Re: Air Rifles as survival tool

As a kid I hunted squirrel and rabbit almost exclusively with a .17 750fps pellet gun.
As an adult I know someone who was shot with one of the new gamo 1100fps rifles and had to have a pellet removed from a lung. :(

Re: Drug home oddball diesel

Those old Diesel motors were not know for power, but They can get around 25MPG (some claim 40mpg).
They can be made reliable, if you don't try to get any power (>120bhp) from them.
Their not bad engines, just misunderstood.

My boss has one in .380, He has put a couple hundred rounds through it, and it's been good so far. But, having shot the...
