Re: Green Eyed Monster

49.2 “Wise! You were right, the army is pulling back!” Mathew Klein exclaimed, out of breath having run all the way from the western watch tower. Russell Weisz’s eyebrows furrowed. “What do you mean, pulling back? Like a couple of the trucks are gone? Or they all hauled ass at one time?” “Scurvy sai...

Ontario US machete Sabrechete 22 hi-C steel/stainless guard

I bought this machete from a farmer in western NC and modified it with the cut near the tip, giving it the drop-point look. The angle cut also has a false edge ground on it. http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/t405/G-BEH-4/83e4d8f4-8250-460e-b313-939f0d918bd4_zpsbe2e1dfb.jpg Then I replaced the crac...

Re: what two person tent for backpacking?

Picked up this one a few months back, no chance to use it in the field yet... But put it up at home, had the wife in for a visit, fits two snugly but not too tight & we are both not small... Seemed tough enough & is a full screen room under a full fly. http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index...

Great job! Seems like it is shooting really good. This looks way more cool than my wooden ugly beast! You should upload the vid to YT as an answer to my original one, I'd approve it in a heartbeat. Re: Siege Stoves: a new tool for bug-out bags /grab-and-go p

Good point... normally we say no cans/too heavy, but if you just carry one can for the stove you gain the ease of use and really reduce weight by whatever ultralight food container you would have otherwise used... Given you would have brought a stove anyway.

Re: More focus on bugging in?

In almost every prepper 'getting started' post I see that most people focus on getting their BOB's first.... I think that's true, but at least here, it's not because everyone espouses that action as a fix-all. The main reason is to get people started, just doing SOMETHING to prep. And it may be spe...

Re: Siege Stoves: a new tool for bug-out bags /grab-and-go p

Pretty cool stuff, not exactly new of course, but looks well made. There are not very many gram weenies on here, but for their benefit you may want to include the weights of each product & maybe a comparison of weights of other stoves... Mentioning the reduced weight of not having to carry fuel of c...

Trade- My M4 gripped slingshot/arrow gun, for your M4 grip.

I want to make some slingshots and/or arrow launchers that attach to an M4 grip, but don't want to spend $20+ on M4 grips, so... You send me an old/stock/scratched/cheap (but real, not airsoft) M4 grip & I will send you (after I make it) the sling shot (UPPER ONLY!) to use with your other M4 grips.....

Work out punishment with mom, as is possible... Restrict shooting & access to gun to- with dad only, probably for a year. After a while MAYBE an airsoft springer he can shoot alone, and see how that goes... Build a back-stop together is a great idea, extra chores to pay for damage, yes, but not to a...

Nice looking gun! If your ever in the mood to practice draw to fist shot around the house, walmart has a aiorsoft in that flavor that is a good deal. Yeah i know what a slack belt sander is and most of the time its a adjustment made to a normal belt sander, i was trying to say its not good for keeping convex edges sharp. its fine to establish one or bring a particularly bad or blunt convex up to par, but not for touch ups or sharpening. I'm not ...
