Not to get political, but as long as governments rewards corporations for doing this, local economies and the working class are going to pay the price. fixed that for you. if you're going to skirt the no-politics rule, do it right. :) also, NAFTA was signed in '94, but this process started long bef...

I had thought I replied to this, but apparently the internet ate my post. Let me see if I can't recreate it: money is nothing more than an abstract symbol for your personal time, just as our words are symbols for our thoughts. It doesn't matter what the manifestation is, gold, silver, paper, credit,...

Re: DIY Solar Air Heating Panel (Pic Heavy)

Zebraroniancheez, Mounting is simple. You cut two 4.5 inch holes in the side of your structure. Centered on the inlet and outlet pipes of course. Stick a strip of 1” foam weather strip around the holes. Attach additional 4” round pipe (duct pipe) to the heat panel as needed to penetrate the wall in...

a opposite-gendered walk can be learned, though. for example, a manly walk involves walking with your feet making two lines, approximately where your shoulders are. this is more of a military march and leads to less hip-swinging. a feminine walk is where your feet go in one line, which is more grace...

A few subjects I'd include: -books about how to draw (humans, animals, landscapes, etc). it'll give you something constructive to do while wasting away the hours and it'll make your journal/memoirs all the more awesome. -books on physical fitness and health -books on the hard sciences- astronomy, ge...

one note: AAA will not get to you in bad weather conditions (it will take hours due to them being busy). if you need a tow-truck immediately, call the local police (especially if you are blocking the road). tow truck drivers do not take plastic, either.

next time, put plastic grocery bags over your rearview mirrors and tuck one into the door- this will make the door easier to open, and you won't have to try to scrape your mirrors (which are always a pain in the ass).

I too am skeptical about it, though I have a feeling that the army's loyalties are actually mixed, so staying out of it (officially) is the only way to maintain troop cohesion. if the soldiers got orders to fire then it would be a civil war, not a mass protest, because if half the army supports the ...

I always wonder, if theese people are not mental reliable! Why are they allowed to be free out with us " normal"?! Pro-Mubarak forces have taken over three Army personnel carriers and are driving them into the crowd.
the army really seems to be sitting on their hands here. I applaud their restraint, but they need to at least stand up for themselves.

before it starts icing, put plastic grocery bags over your side mirrors and tuck one into your car door. this way you wont have to scrape the mirrors (cause they're a pain!) and you'll have an extra leverage point on your door when it's iced shut.

likewise, a fair number of canned meat (tuna, chicken, etc. 10+ cans) will add to variety to your meals, as will other shelf-stable and ready to eat foods. a dozen or so cans of beans will help provide protein without the need to cook. while a 25 lb bag of rice (or other grains) will go a long way, ...

Activists' pamphlet

I'm sure by the time it hit the mainstream the Egyptian govt already had a copy of it.
