I pick up something similar at Costco. They have Madras Lentils and Channa Masala in 4 packs. Here's the manufacturer's website: http://shop.tastybite.com/Channa-Masala/p/TYB-000266&c=TastyBite@Entrees" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; They have them here in the regular grocery stores....

Re: explain to me what China is doing?

Something I mentioned already China has a monopoly on rare earth metals, 97% of the world's supply. Our tech is dependent upon these minerals. No rare earth metals means no digital phones, no TVs, no computers. And no state of the art military equipment. As I understand it, it's not that they have ...

You've got 24% of the vote right now, with the next closest at 16%. I don't know how many forums you're on, but it looks like you've got this one in the bag.

Re: Ruger 10/22 Design Contest

All 10/22s are take downs. It's two screws and takes a few seconds. :clownshoes:

I really like your concept, especially since the first thing I did for my 10/22 was replace the sights.

Re: WWYD - Buying an SKS.

From what I've been seeing on Palmetto State Armory's website lately, you can have a pretty nice AR for qbout another $200-$300. I think that an SKS is nice, and perhaps someone will pay him that much for it. I don't know if that should be you. I don't know if that is a lot for that particular vint...

Re: thyroidectomy what to do

I imagine that the thyroid gland would hold a lot more than 1 days worth of hormone in it. I have no idea how much, or how you could tell (a simple google search didn't give up anything), but one deer could potentially provide a week to a month's worth of "medicine". I'm pulling that out of my ass t...

I don't own one, but I did a bunch of research on them last night coincidentally. They're actually a Tec-Sun PL360. They get good reviews on Amazon and the price on Amazon w/ free shipping is better than CC, although it fluctuates.

Interesting. I can see how his technique would apply to shooting up and then letting the arrows rain down, but it doesn't appear he's getting any sort of full draw on that bow.

Re: What presents for 13 year old prepper?

An Otterbox filled with little goodies. I love a good Otterbox, and I keep all my firestarting stuff in a 1040 or the next smaller one depending. A Mora is always good too. I think a bow is an excellent idea if he's not ready for a rifle, but the responsibility is pretty close to the same even if a ...

Weights, cardio, stretching.

If I do my cardio first, I don't like lifting weights, and I don't seem to be able to do as much. Of course, my cardio is terrible but that's why I go to the gym.

I like the rowing machine for a good workout with cardio FWIW.

My main point is this is blown up, on both sides of the argument, way too much. One side has people who think a bullet can really knock you back. On the other side, you have people who are doing nothing more than arguing semantics. You say knockdown power, people realize you mean (unless you are sa...

Nothing too practical, but you aren't factoring in the length going down dramatically. I've never shot an SKS bullpup, but I like the ones I have shot, they feel like SBRs.
