Re: M1a: wood vs synthetic, cant decide

Getting both seems like the obvious solution :D My perspective is more fudd than highspeed, so keep that in mind. With that said: A wood stocked M1A is heavy as fuck. If this rifle is going to be a "take it out to the range and have fun," then it shouldn't be a problem. The only positives (aside fr...

Re: M1a: wood vs synthetic, cant decide

Thank you all for your effort and time spent replying to my post. I went ahead and got a walnut stock m1a scout at my legs today, waiting on the 10 day wait now lol. I'll probably do some of all of the above and buy a USGI stock, paint that and the rifles hard parts and keep the walnut stock. I also...

eventually I want the rifle to be tan, but may go with wood initially, one of the reasons I'm seriously on the fence lol.

M1a: wood vs synthetic, cant decide

Hey all. Finally doing it and buying an M1A, narrowed it down to the scout with the 18 inch barrel. Ordered 5 mags (so far) and 1k rds 147gr boat tail fmj. But I can't decide on wood or synthetic for the stock, neither is unacceptable for me. It would be my first wood semi auto, all my AK's are synt...

Re: Hello again all, been a long time, a few questions

all of these reasons are pointing towards a purchase in the near future. Im not looking forward to one thing though, the waiting period and the rigmarole or the redtape here in the fascist island of California. Probably the wrong time and place but I think I want an M1A too lol. decisions decisions....

Re: Hello again all, been a long time, a few questions

First up, congrats on getting your life fixed. Thanks, its been a long haul, I wont lie I have a soft spot for the whole .32 S&W Long, .32H&R Mag and .327 family of rounds. The .327 is definitely a very effective round for self defense. The .32H&R in most cases is ok, depending upon the brand. .32H...

Hello again all, been a long time, a few questions

Hi again all, been a long time! Kind of a sad story here with a good end and some minor dissappointment in between. About two years ago (on january 3) I finally bit the bullet and headed to rehab, my alcoholism had reached its pinnacle, I was literally dying and repeatedly waking up in the morning w...

Re: PARA ORDNANCE SF45-A

My former business partner had one, it ran fine except for one glaring problem, it would never fire the last round or two in the magazine. New mags from para never fixed the problem, I hope its not the person I know that your buying it from. Other Paras ive fired dont seem to have this problem, this...

Re: AK 54r?

With a previous posters concerns for overgassing, I wonder how long a rifle like this would last? -FreuderLocks Edit: I dont really mind having less than 10 rd magazines for it, I just wonder how it would perform overall in this configuration. Longevity, accuracy etc. Its an interesting idea to me, ...

AK 54r?

Anybody have or tried one of these rifles? http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/storeproduct886.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Seems interesting considering I thought my PSL was just too big and clunky.
Thoughts?

Re: Chiappa Rhino 200D Review

I cant decide between the S&W 327 and this, good tough decision to have I suppose. I'll probably lean towards the Chiappa, as its so damned cool looking, the low bore axis really gets me too, although the 327 and the models with longer barrels also catch my eye. The Rhino is really freakin cool thou...

Mean Streets Tactical

Hey all, Anybody have any experience with Mean Streets Tactical? They are here in colorado and appear to offer a fairly wide range of classes. They have been spamming boards like this and AK files lately, which piqued my interest. Anybody know anything about them other than what is listed here http:...

On the other side of the camera there's a pack of wild and agitated zombie howler monkeys, he's aiming for the dominant male. But yeah I (and the NRA) agree, finger off the trigger until ready to fire.

Re: Accuracy, Glocks, and XS Big Dots - A Conundrum

I would try with a pistol you know is sighted correctly. As another poster stated, it may be the you part of the gun. It may not be and you could be correct. To eliminate a variable try someones gun you know is dead on and go from there.

I wish you luck, broke mine almost immediately. How? It's a pretty rugged camera! I spoke with the people at the motorcycle shop (Performance Cycle of Denver) about them. The majority, I wont say all, reccommended this camera above say the Hero and POV as being better picture quality, more reliable...

Thanks Gelgoog, good to know, I guess I'll have to add it to my long list of wants. Honestly $600 doesnt seem so bad, even good! Cracked grips aside I think I could live with that price tag if I could find another one in that price range. -FreuderLocks dont count on finding one for under $2000, tha...

I say SBR it, with what you have saved on the price you paid I think you owe it to yourself. Awesome rifle, I love my 106ur. Even if you went the Trust route you would be at least saving a bit over the potential cost of the rifle. -FreuderLocks But you aren't understanding that it is about his drea...
