Help with drilled and tapped rifle ,through to the chamber ?

When the bolt is closed you can hold it to the light and see daylight through the muzzle !!!! Is this normal???...

Re: ak ftf wtf

Do the pictures show the way it malfunctions? As in, it partially strips the round but it gets stuck against the barrel below the chamber? If so, my guess is feed ramp. Either that or a chamfer needs to be put in at the 6 o'clock position to assist in feeding. +1 . I would firt try the primative re...

Re: ak ftf wtf

No It sits in far enough .There can be quite a bit of play there . Make sure your gas port hole is clean and was drilled out properly . Second is lubricate everything up nice and try it again . DONT use break cleaner unless you want to remove the finish off the rifle . Also who built it ? Factory bu...

Re: AMD-65 vs Saiga .308

Out of the 308 Saiga and the AMD65 .Buy the AMD65 .Ammo is a lot easier and cheaper to come by . There are better 308 rifles out there when you save up the bucks . AS for the sideline sks debate . The SKS is a great rifle .Obsolete? Compaired to new rifles it is a bit behind the times . They are gre...

Re: looking for a first AK

the stock locks into position closed and open, so I am not sure how they get "lose". The holes in the underfolder trunnion will egg out a bit given enough time and ammunition, giving the stock significant wobble. i call faul and bullshit.! How many rounds? have you proof of a semi auto shooting eno...

Re: CZ or Tokarev?

I wish I could find it . It was a article on when the Soviet union fell and the release of thousands upon thousands of Tokarevs and other small arms onto the local black markets . Even above the Makarovs ,the tokarev became a Russian mafia favorite as well as being used in murders and suicides .It w...

no it doesnt, and unless the sunlight shines on it just right, you can not even notice it. Was kind of hoping to nip it in the butt before it got worse.
At this point I would just look to protect it good so it doesnt reoccur .

Re: Rusty AK?

I was going to use steel wool, maybe try that? But you said it was across a large area so I can see why you wouldn't want to start scraping everything down. Brownells sells brass wool for stuff like that . Often rust actualy never totaly disapears .It will leave a little mictopiting or residue .I h...

Re: Oppinions on Styer Aug ,bushmaster Bullpup . Fn 2000 ?

I am reading good reveiws on the bushmaster .Trigger pull is realy good , And its reliable , Accuracy 2-3 inch at 100 yards. don't get the M17, its really not that great at all. there's a reason they dont make them anymore. the trigger and ergonomics are nowhere near an AR15, especially since you c...

Re: Maadi vs FEG

Back to AK varients and away from ar15 . The maddi MISR is on the low end as far as quality .The FEG hungarian were more carefuly built and will show better fit and finish . MISR was the worse of the egyptian AK's . They command a lower price than a FEG .

Re: Which caliber do you carry?

It all depends on the situation as many have said .I usualy have the 32 ACP cz50 . I used to own a walther and a glock in 9mm but sold them .I am just too old fashioned and like the feel of steel frames . I carry a TT33 1943 izshvesk with the 7.62x25 defence round . I like it for its high velocity p...
