Re: U.S. made AK-47 question.

People will spend $1000 on a good AK (Krebs, Arsenal, AK-103, etc) and again, with the fear of import bans, why wouldnt people spend $800+ for a US AK? because the price point isnt 800 for a 100% US made AK. its going to be MORE than a 1k import i think people greatly underestimate the cost of amer...

Re: U.S. made AK-47 question.

The making of parts is fairly simple .I have had a front gas block machined from scratch and a scope rail machined from scratch .But thats because I needed something unavailable on the market ,foreign or in the USA. Its not labor costs as to why we dont make parts and 100 percent USA Ak's . There si...

They are brand new cugir built rifles ,not kit built. http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/Romanian_PSL-54C_7.62x54R_Rifle.html" onclick...

Mine will do 2 inch group with czech light ball . 3 inch with Albanian light ball.at 100 yards with some practice and cool barrel . My x love the 32's .But I was shooting 1922 browning , Dreyse ,cz50. So nothing real compact . She didnt like the Allies 32 acp but its small but quite heavy for its size. I beleive its the smallest 32 APC made.

Who said they couldnt build it ?

I was said in the past by auto manufactures about how vehicles couldnt run on little gas . Well VW has done it . This will be a production car they claim over 100 miles to the gallon at 100 MPH. over 200 miles per gallon standard rating rated. Not a Bug out car or truck .but may help us live through...

Re: New Charging handle for the AK

The only reason I can see anyone buying this is that it has hold the bolt open. I have a MUCH simpler method for this although it's not a one handed operation to lock it in, it does work, and wonderfully. http://z.about.com/d/hunting/1/0/e/A/levercut_09.jpg I own a Yugo Krinkov that comes with a bo...

Left handed custom Ak,s are a reality .Parts do exist and can be built . Bit more expensive ,but if you realy want one It can and has been done . Left handed AK's? Sure those exist--they come lefty-friendly from the factory  Not factory , custom builds. I will try to find the builder . There w...

Re: New Charging handle for the AK

Well since I'm right handed and since I love AK's I've always kind of wished that there were AK's that featured a bolt handle on the left side of the gun like how the Germans did with the MP-44, but to me this is WAY too far forward and it seems like more of a gimmick than anything that would addre...

Heres the 45 degree Romanian charger. It seems a little more comfortable . But I read it allows for a reach over from the left side more easy . I dont get why that is so nessary ,but I like mine .

Are all Centurys plagued with thin receivers? Link to Henderson defense model from kbi With that price I could get a few thousand rounds of ammo. Plagued with thin receivers??? I see no use in it . I can rack an Ak charging handle fine where it sits right now . They are trying to fix something that is not broken . The only charging handle improvment I ever liked was the Romanian militarys change to the 45 degree charging handle on the AIMS74. I like the 45degree on mine bu...

Re: Which AK47 will hold up best? Arsenal SGL-20 russian Saiga ?

true dat. you might consider the cz58. not the same as an ak but way more durable and a little more accurate. the only downside is the cost of magazines. Its no more accurate or durable .But I agree with buying one .I owned one and the price now is very reasonable for a milled receiver rifle . A ve...
