Re: It's almost deer season, what are you using?

How far are you shooting deer that your using a 300 Win mag? I know its a popular deer cartridge, but Iv never understood why. Afraid a bear will jump out at you while your in your stand? :? Oh, it's WAY overkill for Missouri whitetail at any range. I could have just as easily have used .30-30, or ...

Re: Buying a Romanian PSL-54C in 7.62x54R, talk me out of it....

Have you looked at the SVT-40? I owned one for two years. It was a giant pain in the ass, and I used it only for reenacting. In even simulated real-world combat it would foul very quickly and seize up on me after a good 200 rds. The gas system was just too small and it was unreliable in anything bu...

The PSL is 100 percent AK reliable . You cant feed it heavy ball ammo , Hungarian especialy! And damn it to hell ,you gotta clean the darn thing . Re: maadi ak

Ak's even if built sloppily with shit parts will go bang when you pull the trigger. The MISR is the least desirable of the egyptian rifles .But to say its worse than a WASR is pretty far off base IMHO. And that is from experience ,not just oppinion or what I read on the net.

Re: Joined the AK ranks (pics)

Friday I was at my favorite gun shop and they were about to be on their way to a gunshow in Fayetteville, NC. They happened to have a Romanian WASR 10 in a box on the counter as I walked in. I fiddled with it, checked the front sight, bs'd around about the price. Then I decided to bring her home. P...

I had a financial fire to put out. SO I found an inexpensive Ar .Well kinda . A Bushmaster M17s factory original bullpup...

Re: U.S. made AK-47 question.

That's what I thought. Someone told me they saw an AK that said "Made in the U.S.A.". It must have been I.O.
