Re: A quịk question about TEOTWAWKI

The world as we knew it ended a second ago. Change is a part of life. Some changes are more severe than others. I believe at some point we will as a human race, do exactly as many other successful species have done and either deplete all available resources to sustain us or pollute our environment ...

Re: Sweden Urges It’s Citizens to Prepare for Invasion

Sweden Is Preparing for the End of the World Here is a link to the pamphlet. It will download as a PDF. Cool, but I feel that it could contain more prepping information. It is in English. If Crisis or War Comes Thanks for the link to the English version of the leaflet. It was a very interesting rea...

Sweden Urges It’s Citizens to Prepare for Invasion

The Swedes are prepping for an invasion by a an unnamed foreign power whose initials are Russia. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/world/wp/2018/05/22/new-government-leaflets-tell-swedes-to-be-prepared-for-war/?utm_term=.f44efa05c5d7 They are also looking to increase their already numerous air rai...

I had not heard of the new magazine restrictions in Vermont; thanks for the update.

Pmags have always functioned well for me. Magpul makes a great product and has an impressive corporate history.

I'm going to find some more to buy and stack them high.

Great update! Your descriptions really create great scenes. The story line is so incredibly captivating. I've been reading other post-apocalyptic fiction since your last post and nothing comes close to the quality of your writing.

Thanks TB!

I love your posts! You are constantly going out in the wild with minimal gear. You showed us the right moves here, too. Get out when things turn deadly!

I saw the new year come in Honored the peaceful protest slog I saw how a shadow on the snow Can frighten a sleepy groundhog Driving a Tesla electric car I saw the Starman Heading out past Mars Alone, but enjoying the plan So how much longer will my barren winter last? In this time of year for friends and family I imagine our heroes out in the wasteland What will Soltice time bring them? Do they dare have a holiday plan? I’m happy in my pre-apocalypse I’ve many preps in good supply But if I were asked what I’m wanting I would give this kind reply I don’t want a ne...

Re: Inexpensive Backpacking Tent?

Every time we camp in Texas there is a burn ban, no campfires. And it's fairly cool in the winter. I think the tuna can fuel trick would be exempt though, since it is canned fuel. I had a eureka two person tent I got in 2000 and used until are family grew. I gave it to a friend who is still using it...

TB has given us a great gift. Starting in May 2013, he has made over 100 days with story entries. The greatest intensity was at the start, with 17 days of stories in the first month. June had seventeen story days, July eight. The rest of 2013 averaged just under 3 story days per month. 2014 was ble...

I have been rereading old chapters while hoping for new words from you, TB. I had a fortune cookie last week that said I would soon be showered with good fortune. It has been raining here a lot. However, the good fortune I am wishing for is a new chapter!

Re: A Resonably Good Inflatable Canoe?

Our crew got an inflatable canoe, the Sevylor Colorado about 12 years ago. We take it car camping and for trips on local rivers and lakes. It's great not to have to tie an air resistor to your car roof for 5,000 miles. As our family grew we got a second one maybe 7 years ago, same model. 2014 same t...

Re: Well I have to replace the Kahr

I have, and pocket carried for years, a P-64. I picked up a Shield .40 last year and it is almost identical in carry weight and size, I don't notice a difference. Even though my Shield is of a much bigger caliber than the P-64's 9mm Makarov, it is much more fun to shoot and does not punish my hand l...

I really appreciated the data point! It's no Rock River, Noveske, insert your dream AR here, but I think Radical makes an OK gun and Rob Ski's video, really does show that. Especially for $499, which is what AIM is still selling them for today.

Re: $499.95 Radical Firearms AR 5.56 or 7.62x39 Anygood?

Thanks for that video link ksbsnowowl! I don't have any target to post but my Radical 5.56 has been functioning fine. I've had it almost a year and have 1800 rounds or so thru it with just perfect performance. Rob Ski's torture test videos are amazing. He did switch out the trigger group and put on ...
