Re: California chapter-statewide or regional?

In a statewide chapter made of three branches we would need a Branch Chief for all three (call em whatever you want). This would meet the requirement for Chapter Status. Each Branch should have an XO and Secretary/Treasurer. That way as a Branch you could function on your own if State starts droppin...

Re: California chapter-statewide or regional?

I was screwing around with a possible calendar of events. It would split the Camp & Shoots and the charity events by Regional branch in a statewide chapter. Would make things easier for the local group by spreading the burden of events. The meeting and or activity months are where you can get creati...

Re: California chapter-statewide or regional?

The more I think about it, a Statewide chapter, with regional branches, wouldn't be such a bad idea. Figure one "camp n shoot" in the fall and one "camp n shoot" in the spring divided between north and south. So in reality, you'd only have to travel to the other part of the state once a year. Prior ...

Re: California chapter-statewide or regional?

I'd be down for either way. California or split it into two or three. I read one of the chapter threads a while back that you can do a clean up as a charity event. Lots of places get trashed up after July 4th. Which this year happens to be on a saturday. July 5th, being sunday, would possibly be a g...

Re: SoCal Events

Garith, How early/late does the archery run? Is there a coffee shop near the archery location which is similar to MMCM's? We could do coffee after. I think making it a two parter (for those not interested in the archery portion) would be a good idea. Toecutter, What kind of classes are we talkin abo...
