Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

I'm interested to see how much the ricktatorship lacks legitimacy following Rick's 'episode'. I could imagine a few people giving him lip if he starts barking orders like he never went off the deep end.

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

I thought it was a good episode. Glenn made a decent attempt at leading, too bad he gapped on the sentry thing. Nice to see Martinez rockin' an FAL. Anyone else notice the switcheroo on Rick's slung M4?

So, the Dixon's were gonna rob the camp. Throwaway remark, or something that surfaces later?

When you get that way throw a moto movie on TV and just do something. Bodyweight squats, 2 minutes of pushups, you'll feel better if you do.
Words of wisdom right there.

Re: Workout of the Day

Mine for today: 4x15 pushups, 4x20 situps, 3x3 chinups, then 1/4 mile on the treadmill in 3:20. Running is getting a little easier. Situps, not so much. They still bring the suck. Started a couple weeks ago training and am down from 187 to 178 so far. Doing pushups/situps/chinups and light running ...

Re: Basic Fitness for Firearms Enthusiasts and Other Humans

First time I wander into Training, and I find this brilliant thread! I started a few years back doing pushups and squats one day, chinups and leg raises the next, repeat until awesome. Start as small as necessary, improve as you can, and change will happen. Here's an idea some may find useful. Somet...

Re: Tom Brown Jr and Survival Training?

Bubba Enfield, thanks for the reply. What level have you gone up to regarding the courses? How has the training affected your outdoor skills-what can you do? Thanks! No problem. I completed Scout, and Philosophy 1. This was a while ago, and I haven't exactly been spending tons of time since then pr...

Re: Tom Brown Jr and Survival Training?

I've spent a bunch of time and money at that school. It's expensive, but great IMO. Approx. $1,000 per week (every course is one week long). Entry course is called The Standard Course, and is %80 lecture and %20 hands-on practise. If you take mad notes during the lectures, you'll have material enoug...

Re: So..... Red Dawn remake anyone?

(Remember watching the original and thinking "where the hell are the special forces?") "They're talking about sending in some Green Berets in the spring to help you out." "Spring's a long way off." - disclaimer - dialog from memory. Oh, I remember that scene quite well. But seriously, special force...
