Re: S&W AirLite 351PD (.22 WMR) Failure! Update #1

Well, shipping the pistol back to S&W via FedEx went very smoothly, but I did have to go to one of their "World Center" locations. I was not allowed to send it from a regular Kinkos/FedEx storefront (S&W company policy). S&W had it less than a week and the revolver is already on it's way back to me....

Re: S&W AirLite 351PD (.22 WMR) Failure!

I called S&W, they will be taking care of it but I'm still really disappointed in the pistol. My trust in using it as a backup has evaporated. I've been wanting the new M&P Shield, but now I have concerns about all S&W products. Am I over-reacting?

S&W AirLite 351PD (.22 WMR) Failure!

I was at the range today trying out my brand new S&W .22wmr revolver and its locking bolt pin fell out!! I had put around 80 rounds of the Hornady Critical Defense .22wmr through it without a hitch but then after shooting seven round the ejector rod seemed stuck when I went to dump the cases. Then i...

Re: Gold in PAW

Gold isn't for use in the PAW, it's a way to hold on to your wealth through the PAW. Once the PAW is over (and it will eventually get over) you use your gold to re-establish your wealth by converting it to whatever is the new money.

Important safety note: don't use aluminum pans/pots/untensils in this process. The lye reacts quite quickly with aluminum. Enameled or glass containers are much safer.

What action could you possibly take which would make that situation worse?
Missing the shooter and taking out another six year old child or any other innocent bystander?

Why bike-powered generators suck.

Here's a very interesting article about why trying to attach a generator to a bicycle is a waste of your effort...up to 75% of your effort. http://www.lowtechmagazine.com/2011/05/bike-powered-electricity-generators.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It also explains how to r...

Cool! I heard you can buy just about anything at a Mexican pharmacy but I always wondered what's involved in getting it back across the border. Is it that easy if you are flying back to the US?
