Re: Mobile CB help.

I looked at a 102" whip, but its just too big. My car is a Nissan Terrano - looks a bit like this: http://lh5.ggpht.com/_hJXn-iLQfPQ/SUvA0SlYODI/AAAAAAAAD-c/20K2tt3htZw/s640/DSCN1245.JPG The spare on the back is like this: http://www.horsetrailershop.co.uk/image/cache/data/Wheel%20Covers/DSCF0002-50...

Mobile CB help.

I've tried to search for the answer but 'CB' is too short, I've tried the Google search too and after a good ten minutes I stopped looking. I have a new car and I want to put a CB in it, but I'm having trouble deciding on an antenna. I'm going to mount the antenna on the rear door near the spare whe...

Re: Finding a pistol caliber rifle for a friend

Now I'm only a Brit who has to live with 'interesting' gun laws, but from what I've read on here;

Pistol calibre + collapsible + bug out bag = Kel-Tec SUB2000.

Re: why aren't my posts showing up?

I might be wrong here (I have been once or twice in my life) I assume you mean you can't see your 'Bacon flu possible mutation' thread. I think this is because 'view active topics' ignores posts in Off-Topic Discussion (and possibly a couple of other sub-forums) and thats where your thread is. Hope ...

Re: "[T]he worst chemical accident in Hungary's history"

Hungary fears second toxic wave. The Hungarian village of Kolontar has been evacuated after new damage was discovered at a burst reservoir that spilled toxic sludge on Monday. Prime Minister Viktor Orban said it was "very likely" that an entire wall of the reservoir would collapse, releasing a fres...

Re: Close Protection - anyone here do it/done it?

Thank you very much K9medic, just what I wanted. I signed up to CP World a while back, but I've only just started looking properly. £10-£15 per hour is better than what I'm making now and I've read that if your going to need a rifle where your working you need to have at least a few years of militar...

Close Protection - anyone here do it/done it?

I'm bored with my current job (the company I work for is in receivership, so i'll be losing my job soon anyway) and hate doing what I do now - working in a tile shop. I've been thinking of doing the CP course for a while, but now I have the cash saved up and i'm pretty much set to do it. So has anyo...

Also, you could try the dump pouch method fairly cheaply if you get one of THESE of eBay. I KNOW its a piece of shit airsoft 'tactical' pouch, but its $10 and will give you an idea of wether you'd like it or not - Its also got an elastic opening so you can make it just big enough for your hand but i...

Some sort of dump pouch on a belt on your strong side?

A little like this:

Should get 50 or so shells in there.

Military Madness (ZeroOne airsoft) have a lot of the older main meals, they do bundles on 5 for a tenner. Meatballs are my favourite, but the chicken tikka and chicken dopiaza are quite tasty too.

Re: LAND ROVER FREELANDER 2.0 Di Station Wagon for a BOV?

From what I've read, the Nissan X-Trail is quite solid off road for an SUV type and the 6 speed diesel gets 35ish MPG on the road.
WhatCar? puts them at about the best off-road SUV you can get.

Re: YOUR .308 bolt gun...

I have a quick question for you. It looks like the cheek piece might get in the way of removing the bolt on your rifle. Can you remove the bolt without interference? I can get the bolt out easy enough, it will come out more than enough to remove the bolt before it hits the cheek peace. Some people ...

Re: Suggestions for a cold steel knife,

Tactical Ops seem to be the only people selling them over here, they come to £29.90 with postage and they are a very solid knife. I got mine not long ago with a custom sheath from Wastelander. Very solid knife and as its reasonably cheap you won't be too upset if you fuck it up. Here is a picture o...

Re: Got bonus, want new cellphone with specific requirements.

There is the Sonim XP1. No qwerty, but it seems quite waterproof.
There is also the old Panasonic Toughbook CF-P2 Smart Phone.

These phones are tough, but also basic and older models, the new Sonim XP3.2 seem to go anywhere from $300 to $700 (eBay prices)

I can't say I'd ever heard of them until now. Apparently they are very similar to Super Noodles, but a shit load cheaper - next time I'm in Tesco I will definitely try them out. I really like Super Noodles on toast as a tasty, lazy, easy meal. Nutritional Information: Calories - 385 Carbohydrate - 5...

Re: Re-finishing my Marlins stock - Upate 6th May. Lots o' pics

The rail doesn't really get in the way, I always preferred holding the forearm closer to the receiver anyway. I'm going to mount my über-tactical torch and take a picture in a while. The paracord makes it much more comfy to work the action, I contemplated some leather thong, but paracord is way cool...

There is this one on Ebay: Tactical Taylor Coyote Tan Cap, Looks pretty cool, but quite pricey. Or Coyote Tan Tactical Operators Cap, which is similar and quite a bit cheaper.
Your best searching for either 'contractors cap' or 'coyote tan cap' - I think these are the types of cap you're after.

Re: 700 SPS Varmint - Now with new skin 9th July!

It cost me £550 for the stage 1.5 (I didn't need to spend another £50 for one that folds) which is about $830 and another £50 ($75) for a spare 10 round mag. I don't know about accuracy yet as I've only had it for about 4 hours and I won't be going shooting until next Thursday. EDIT - Here are my Da...
