Re: Revolver in 9mm: S&W or Chiappa?

I'd go Smith. It's just a better gun. The Chiappas are cool, but they are too expensive in my opinion. Now, you're talking range and possibly reloading... You want a good value, legacy gun that is reliable and useful and built to handle anything.... Ruger Blackhawk Convertible in 9mm/.357. Then get ...

Re: This Earthquake Safety Helmet Folds Flat Until You Need It

I just don't understand...

There's no warning for an earthquake, aftershocks excluded.

So what use is a helmet cuz you wont have time to don it.... Unless you wear it all the time....

Then why does it fold?

The inventor needs to wear a helmet

Re: Firearms Chat: Yeet Cannon 2 Electric Boogaloo

Well, I got outbid on that Rock-Ola M14 I was bidding on the other day. It went way over what the gun was worth (final winning bid was $2,525) and I was real sorry I had to drop out but I have a budget I have to stay in. I'm not finding any other M14s that I'd care to buy (I prefer a forged receive...

Re: Will Turkish firearms be sanctioned?

I have or have had many Turkish pistols... From Canik and Sarsilmaz. No Girsan or Tisas yet. And no MKE HK stuff either. Basically, I love Turkish handguns. But I hope there are no firearm sanctions. It's such a niche industry and banning importation is a topic I can't cover cuz it's gets political....

Re: Half of millennials and 75% of Gen Zers have left their job for mental health reasons

Agreed with the above. It's the "definition game". Mental health does not equate to mental illness. And mental illness and mental health are very broad terms nowadays. Leaving a job because it sucks and I hate it would be mental health. Leaving a job because I was moving or got promoted or finished ...

Re: El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

My biggest complaint about the film is that Jesse Plemmons has obviously aged and gained a bit of weight. This was distracting and took away a little from his scenes. Haha I was laughing about how they filmed around it... Weird angles and items blocking him. Reminds me of Austin Powers when they hi...

If only PA allowed semi-auto for big game. And Alaska's game is generally too large for most semi-auto.

I'd love to use an SKS

2011 Nissan Xterra S 2014 Nissan Murano S Surrrrrrvey SAYS?!?!! Xterra: great vehicles. The 2005-2010 had transmission issues (class action suit) due to radiator lines cracking and leaking into the tranny, detonating it. Happened to my parent's Pathfinder. I think it's resolved on 2011. Other than ...

I've only read headlines, I feel like it's lucky more weren't hurt or killed. Prayers for those that were. I wonder, with New Orleans being in a swamp/bowl, with hurricane damage being possibly unseen, if this is something that well happen over the years there... More than the average infrastructure...

Looks like Smith and Wesson released a M&P 2.0 Subcompact... basically the old M&P9c but in 2.0 fashion...

Color me interested.

But people are mad it is not a SIG 365 or SA Hellcat competitor.

I guess you can't please everyone

Re: What did you today for your BOV/how did you prepare your BOV

MP, I've been shopping for a new car on and off over the last year. I've been looking for small/medium AWD/4WD suv/crossovers that are cheap, reliable, and easy to fix. This is the list I created. I looked at reliability overall, and didn't really care about features. My budget was generally the rul...

Now I am down to : 2013 Nissan Rogue S 2009 Volvo S40 2.4i The lomger this goes on, the more desicions are being made for me. There is no reasoning here. Reasonable. I would like them to be reasonable . RUNNNNNN away from that Rogue. They use Jatco CVTs (which are owned by Nissan) which are awful. ...

Best future BOV - I (not I) can't make up my mind here: 2016 Jeep - Patriot Sport 2011 Toyota - RAV4 2009 Hyundai - Santa Fe Limited The only one I would seriously consider on that list is the Hyundai. Secondly, I don't like CarMax and I am not a fan of those prices. Then again, I'm a cheap ass. 20...

It's an AK... I just taped a light to mine for a little bit. I never shot it like that, but Coast LEDs are cheap and it felt solid. You gotta brace it with duct tape to keep it level. It looked gnarly and cool. I got inspiration from Left For Dead 2 hahaha Edit, taped it under the handguard didn't f...

Not sure what you want to know. Done right a 10/22 can is "Spy movie quiet".
Which ones do you prefer and why?
I never shot a silencer/suppressor, but the 10/22 takedown integrally suppressed thingy looks super awesome if that's still a thing

Now days my EDC is a Springfield XD 45 tactical, it's a pig but it's my pig and I've grown to love it. I got an XD45 stainless/olive on a trade. Never "loved" it, but it shot great. Then found a black XD45 compact on consignment for $300 Then an XD45 Tactical at a pawn shop for $325 So I ended up w...

I always liked Kryptek as it was a cool blend of hunting and military camo. The hipster in me liked it because it wasn't very popular where I've loved because everyone either ran Mossy Oak, Multicam, or the rich people owned Sitka.

I hope it isn't crazy expensive
