Yeah..... Y'all right.
I can't think of anything fun and witty better than Zombie Squad. Plus, the ZS logo is badass

Not necessarily ridiculous because it has some decent gear... but a lump sum of $20,000 for a full kit of zombie killin' gear

I think if we had a forum title other than "zombie" we'd be seeing a lot more involvement on here about prepping. Most of the other prepping forums are either too religious or just full of people that think they know everything about the outdoors but really don't. Or sites that are solely dedicated...

Elections are always scary for half the population. I dunno if it will hit the "hey day" of Doomsday preppers and Walking Dead popularity of the 2010's... But I bet there will be some small spikes of interest.

Anyone else reminded of when Olympic made an AR pistol in 7.62x39, bragged about it and then cheap Chinese 7.62x39 ammo with the steel core got banned as a result ? Now that I think about it, I'm probably remembering the details wrong. Yep.... Now I can't get the 7n6 5.45 ammo anymore That ban came...

Traveling to my BILs wedding today. TSA posted a sign saying "no Glocks." https://news.guns.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Airlines-are-humorless-1024x576.jpg ] I brought a S&W. I guess they don't like *them* either? It sure seems to be a fast track to getting a lady to put her hands on you though....

Welcome! You'll find very reasonable discussions here for the everyday stuff, and you can also find some hardcore doomsday stuff. The key is, most know the difference and understand the risk management and likelihood of both. So we can chat about saving extra in a paycheck or fighting aliens... With...

Looks like they use a mix but mostly DPMS stuff with some standard AR15 and Armalite mixed in for small parts.
And the receivers look to be DPMS pattern

Does Temptation Island still exist... you know, for the ladies??
I would love to have Sanibel and Captiva Island in Florida. But then, I'd have to battle Floridaman... and I don't know if there's enough Meth, Marlboros, and Machetes to keep those hordes at bay...

I'm really liking the "western" vibes the show is putting out. Big fan so far. Not perfect, but maybe as perfect as "new disney" can be and significantly better than anything Star Wars related in recent years.

Re: pistol caliber carbine feedback
9mm Hipoint carbines are great, but they do have some cons due to the price (it's a compromise). I picked up my 45 carbine for $150 used. It's a blast and I've used it on groundhogs. But as others have said, heavy, bulky, low mag capacity (redball mags I think are good extended mags and High tower a...

Re: Which is the better weapon Kukri or Katana?
If I "HAD" to pick, I'd go katana because it's longer. That's it. Hopefully, my baseball seeing will easily translate to difficult katana skills.
But I'd prefer a blunt weapon. And if I had my pick of blade, it'd be a traditional machete.
But now I'm thinking kukri. I dunno...

I assume you're meaning if I'm right handed, my dominant right arm is useless?? So, now being forced to be a lefty, I'm taking the Remington 870. Originally, I thought the obvious choice was the Marlin. Semi auto, large mag, light controls for using one hand. But then, I realized that laying a tube...
