I imagine that you just saw the piston "slip" as it pulled back beyond those ribs into the larger portion of the tube..no problem.....no worries Or my visualization-fu is just too weak Or I am too stupid ...

I don't like finicky weapons

But there is ammo out there that is crappy enough to cause any pistol/rifle/revolver to choke

Or maybe blow up

I once had some reloads that were so wimpy they went through the target sideways.....I would say that those rounds were a little too cheap

I inherited one

I was afraid to shoot it because the cylinder was so loose

I was going to keep it for a buyback gun but decided I didn't want anything unsafe in my safe :D

So I broke it into little pieces.....which was not very hard to do

While it is a lot of fun to argue the relative merits of different calibers..... I agree with these two very smart guys :D I once had a whole host of weapons in different calibers......kept adding new ones mostly because I liked the platform and it was most readily available in XXX caliber and don't...

Every single manufacturer makes some bad rounds

Every single reloader makes some bad rounds

Some of those rounds find their way into weapons

Some of them cause really bad things to happen

I am with Dave...if you are going to carry a small caliber it should be in a small pistol

The larger units are really no smaller than a good 9mm pistol
