Re: Best choice for Ice Cleats/Microspikes

I wholeheartedly endorse the Katoolahs. I wore them all last winter, carrying a 70lb ladder up & down icy boulders, no problems. Just make sure you remove them before walking on tile surfaces. I'm a very big guy & never had any problems with wear & tear. I think the above experience was hopefully a ...

Re: What Knife / Knives are in your Kit for working with Woo

Resurrection! That SAK is a Farmer, that I fiddled with. Added the scissors & 2 extra blades. The medium size from a normal SAK, and a small one that's been ground down to a flat edge for fine work. It's called BLAKenstein(steen, not stine). A play on the other SAKensteins I've put together. Much ch...

Re: What Knife / Knives are in your Kit for working with Woo

The SAK in the middle is for most work, but the Enzo does a great job, too. http://i1071.photobucket.com/albums/u510/redpanda71/Knife%20Stuff/Nessmuk%20Trios/th_Resizeof2013-01-18153048.jpg I also can't say enough good things about Hultafors knives, especially the HVK. http://i1071.photobucket.com/a...

Re: knotology (Very pic heavy)

I hate bumping posts....... Anybody got anything new?  Well, not new, I just ran across this old pic. It was taken in front of an apartment I lived in in like 2001. The city utility company let this persist of about a year, even after a few complaints. I lost all the others that document...

I try to stay away from clothing that is too dark or too bright. Although the only enemies I'm trying to avoid are mosquitoes & yellow-jackets.

Re: Which 3 lights would you have in the PAW?

I used to like Surefires & Fenixs, but lately at work, I've been using Garrity 1AA flashlights that I've picked up at a chain store. They only cost $8.99 each & have served me well, at work. They may not be the brightest, but they can take a beating & so far, seem to be water resistant. I use lithiu...

Re: Coming soon to the Uk.

I just watched this tonight. It was a nice surprise, especially for a television show. I'm unfamiliar with Channel 4. Does it normally show such extreme violence/profanity or did I see an unedited version? Was I the only one who hoped that Riq wouldn't make it to the house? That kid just annoyed the...

I gotta throw my vote in for HOT COCK. I think it's great with pasta & pizza. I also like Tabas-kee & the cheapo stuff you can get at Giant Tiger(Canadian Discount Store). I think it's probably the same Louisiana stuff that Gunny has. I bought one of my friends a bottle of Dave's, after I tried it o...

Ma Bell is hiring!

Hey all, If anyone's interested, my company is starting its annual hiring spree. Click here for more info. We're looking for almost 400 people in Ontario, mostly around the GTA. It'll be temporary part-time, but you'll more than likely be getting 40+ hrs/wk, at least until next winter. It's great ex...

My favourite setup so far, is MP5 w/silencer. My most common perks are Claymore, UAV Jammer(can't remember what it's called) & Last Stand.

I'm not very good, so the claymores really contribute to my kill count.

Oh yeah, my gamertag is Seanny71.

Yep, there's a shitload of COs like that around town. They're outfitted with huge battery backup systems to power the local phone lata for 24 hours, and a giant diesel generator set to recharge the batteries indefinitely. Back during the big NE blackout, someone stole a generator from a CO in a sma...

I really like your doorbell idea. You could just use the 2nd pair of whatever type of drop is going to the buildings.

How much voltage is needed to make the doorbell ring? Hmm, this is gonna take some investigating.

I recently shaved off my beard after a couple of incidents with popcans & mustache strands. It was so traumatizing, that I still tilt my head way back, even though the beard is just a memory.

The only thing keeping me from regrowing it is that I don't wanna get hassled at the border.

Wow, a thread I can actually contribute to! It would be very easy to set up a small network in your immediate area. You'd just need to bridge the needed pairs at the common crossbox or remote. Then just use a 9V, as Skippman suggested. The only problem is letting the intended recipient know to pick ...

Dock confrontation to the end, okay, but the voiceover explaining the title was lame & felt tacked on. ...
