Re: New York denies request to allow 44 unvaccinated students back in class

What is interesting about this case and one most are missing here is that kids which are not vaccinated are primarily hasidic Jews. They are not worried so much about autism as they are concerned about vaccines as contrary to religious belief Personally I do not agree with the .gov mandating vaccine...

Re: Hurricane Preps

I finally finished the prep rotation. Lessons learned this year: 1. I can substantially reduce future purchases of D cell batteries by using the AA batteries in DCell adapters. That and finally phase out all but a few Dcell lights. AA flashlights are much better for all but a few uses. I still like ...

Actually Stercutus...the fact you cannot understand that logic is actually a good thing. It shows you are an intelligent and logical person.

The time to worry is when such things make sense to you.

Especially on the holiest of das of the year Easter.

Do pray for the dead, wounded and those affected by this horrific event.

Re: Paradise, CA, water disaster :(

How on earth did the fire cause VOCs and Benzine to get into the water system? The good new is that VOC respond well to remediation. The bad news is that flushing the water system with clean water is the really the only way to get rid of it. Depending upon what exact VOCs (and to what extent they) a...

Re: Black Summer and The Silence on Netfix

I binge watched Black Summer because I liked the filming style thing the threads together. That said the unlimited mag capacity and inability to aim was really distracting to me. That said the characters and thier development was good enough for me to keep watching and fast forward through the stupi...

There are 2 non-negotiable prep items for me. Coffee and canned condensed milk for my coffee. The Swiss obviously want to save money. It is their money and thier choice. Re: How did Venezuela end up this way?

Great Information! Thank you! I hear you about the value of items when bartering varying tremendously based upon supply and demand. I was interested in the agricultural area because preppers seem to migrate towards farming and live stock. You confirmed what I have seen from the outside. While farmin...

Re: How did Venezuela end up this way?

Wow. Thank you for the insight. A few more questions if you do not mind. Is there any kind of barter economy and if so what are typical barter items? The last time I was in Venezuela (admittedly a while ago) there was a thriving agricultural base in the country. How has that faired? There was also a...

Check with the factory but I suspect that it is not a retrofit item.

You can call this shop and ask them.

A wolf pack is more than a pack of unrelated individuals. They tend to be a family and related by blood.

So yes a lone wolf is also easy prey.

The lone wolf dies. Only the pack survives. Without a group surviving this event is nearly impossible.

Re: How To Defend Your BOL with a Small Group for Dummies

I agree with barriers. Drainage ditches of done properly are both discrete and effective against vehicles. However they also provide cover and concealment. One of the barriers I use to keep trespassers on 4 wheelers out is a simple combination of barbed wire and wire rope. The wire rope is setup in ...

It is an auction and the opening bid is $5000. They are in good shape and this one claims less than 500 miles. As an ATV at the right price this would be great. The starting bid is $5,000 and likely to go higher. That said you can get a brand new entry level ATV for $7,500.
