Re: Cabin Porn

Awesome build doitnstyle1, that looks like it will be a mighty fine tiny house when finished. And since I am here, how about John Neeman's Birth of a House video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErGQ0rXkn74 Wow. Just wow! I enjoyed that video so much. I am impressed by the workmanship and the beauty...

Im not really sure how useful ill be. My job requies me to be able to lift a lot of heavy things. Other than that, i have no crazy PAW skills.

15 gallon blue drums question

I have access to some blue drums that were used for pharmaceutical grade amino acids. They were lined. Would these be okay to store water in?

Thanks.

Re: Doomsday Preppers, has it changed your prep plans?

Doomsday Preppers is a fun show to watch, right along with Doomsday Bunkers... pure entertainment for me. I think most of the people they have on that show are nut jobs, but there have been two that stood out to me as being pretty normal as far as preppers or homesteading goes. The Darveas family ha...

Re: What prep(s) are you LEAST proud of?

After reading through this thread.... I am ashamed to say that I am just starting my prepping. I've been a member of this forum for quite a while and I have just found one excuse after another when it comes to starting my preps. I finally decided (last month) that it could wait no longer. I have alr...

Re: 275 Gal. storage tanks for $60

Found this on Craigslist.... in Garner NC All my food grade barrels are $20 each. The 275 gallon containers are different prices depending upon configuration. This 275 gallon tank ( IBC tote) is avaiable with a Galvanized Tubular Steel Cage and is available in plastic, wood and metal pallet configur...

September 7th I entered a "biggest loser" contest at work and was doing well until my weigh in week 3 where I gained back the 3lbs I lost in the first two weeks. I'm not sure where I have been going wrong. I've been quite active, eating much better so I can't figure it out. I go to Zumba every Monda...

Re: Girl Scouts?

Girl Scouts in our area is a joke. It's basically an arts and crafts time and a babysitting service for the snobby moms. I had tried to sign my girls up for GS and asked about volunteering and was basically told that they discourage it. I promplty left the meeting and did not sign up my kids. I know...

Waste of time! I too was once a HUGE ROMERO fan, but not so much anymore. I still absolutely LOVE Night of the Living Dead and yes I enjoyed Land of the Dead, but his other films have got me feeling quite depressed. Hopefully someone else will step in and revive the zombie genre.

Food grade water storage

What are the markings that I should look for on "food grade" drums to make sure they really are food grade? I just recently purchased some 55 gallon food grade containers and was curious about that.

Re: Fitness goals and accoutability thread OPEN

I'm doing pretty good.

Stopped drinking soda and I am only drinking water.

Working out every day.

Eating breakfast every morning (Never been a fan of breakfast, but I am doing it)

Had a health exam and now I know all my numbers! Good thing, because I never really knew where I stood before.
