Re: Is this $50 Crossbow worth the money?

Most xbows in general use 20" or 22" not just high end ones ok. let's not get into a pissing match on the common length of a "cheap crossbow" arrow. The majority of CBs I see around here have a common arrow length of between 16 and 18 inches. You may see the 20-22 inch. Internet warriors often find...

Re: Is this $50 Crossbow worth the money?

consider the bow prod, the speed of and design of the arrow [yeah, I said 'arrow'...a true "bolt" has no fletching. these have fletching.] at 120 lbs, 185 fps isn't the fastest it could be...but it's no slouch either. This crossbow will easily take any size game up to/including whitetail deer at rea...

Re: WWYD if Yellowstone went off

I'm one of the whacky's if not Fools who believe Yellowstone will happen in our lifetime. I pray it doesn't since the devastation would be....well, devastating. Not just the loss of life immediately after it goes off, but the plume of plutonium smoke and ash across the US that might go into Canada ...

Re: stripped of all your gear, what could you build to survi

The "rule of 3" should kick in... You cannot survive more than: 3 minutes without air 3 hours without shelter 3 days without water 3 weeks without food Alright, you've lost that struggle against who or whatever ( pick your own demise), and they've taken all your gear and supplies. you've been driven...

Since I'm SRT, use your imagination to conjure up the things we have to quell a riot of 1000 prisoners..........WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! As in "right now" I'm at my desk, in the middle of my semi-storage area of ManGear. Bad news for those coming in ATM. ...

Re: benefits to training your dog in foreign languages.

US Government Service dogs [ie. Police dogs] trained in foreign languages are often trained in languages not readily common to that particular society. Training your Sheppard in German commands in a predominantly Spanish or Oriental...or non-German, Caucasian society, pretty much guarantees the dog ...

Re: Dedicated fire knife (mini fire kit)

It's easier to respond in the quote. Mine bold and red: Been trying to perfect the fire making kits. Got a nice altoids tin packed with tinder, lighter, Swiss firesteel and such. It is punched and ready to make char cloth. This would constitute the pack kit for kitchen and camp fire duty. A small be...

I'm 43 now and have been hunting since the age of 12...also, I have been wearing a badge since 21. Currently I'm an SRT Officer in the Prison in which I'm employed. SRT duties require the ability to lead, as much as follow. We are proficient in deployment and use of armament and tactics, as well as ...
