Re: What if the government were evacuating

I live in the 3rd biggest city in my state, so I would probably pack up and head for some of the more rural areas that I grew up in. I'd be better off away from people.

Re: Paris, France - mass shooting

The barbarism is evident in the uncensored clip. Ditto, Not only shooting down a what I'm assuming was a police officer, but to walk over to the cop who is clearly no longer a threat to them, just laying on the ground, and shooting him in the head at point blank range. Absolutely absurd, It legitim...

Re: Ebola All Over The Place

I know I'm probably super late to this discussion, but seeing this virus actually reach New York and be confirmed has caused me to pay attention more. I won't lie, I can definitely be a young ignorant person being only 23, and I truly didn't think that it would come this far up the coast but shoot ...

Re: The meats most wont eat thread.

An age ago, living in North Jersey my roomate would shoot squirrels out of the tree growing near our second floor kitchen window with a pellet gun, run out and grab them before anyone noticed, and then quick skin 'em, gut 'em, and Shake-N-Bake 'em. Meat was a little dry, but the coating kept what l...

Re: What is your favorite beer OR what are you currently try

I can give you a list of a million great places to tour if you make your way up here. Hard cider too. I don't often drink it, but occasionally I'll grab one and there are some awesome brands up here(Citizen Cider is by far the best). I won't lie, I do love a hard cider, but I have to be in the mood...

Crayfish trap question

So I've gone ahead and made a couple of traps much like this one for crayfish: http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Crawfish-Trap Mine doesn't look quite as pretty: http://i.imgur.com/GECQbbR.jpg?3 The biggest question would be the legality of testing it out. I do having a legal fishing license and what no...

Re: What is your favorite beer OR what are you currently try

Yeah, it's good quality stuff and their season brews are usually terrific, and it's always a great standby. Plus, you can tour their brewery and get the tour, two pints of your choice, and a LT pint glass for like $10. Shoot I should definitely get up there and do that, I love brewery tours!

Re: What is your favorite beer OR what are you currently try

HA! EVERYONE who goes to college in VT, myself included, drinks themselves silly on Long Trail(usually Blackbeary Wheat) though I preferred just their Ale. By the time I reached the real world, I'd had so much damn LT that I almost have no interest in it. I used to work at a resort that had their o...

Re: What is your favorite beer OR what are you currently try

I reside in Vermont, which has more breweries than trees, more trees than cows, and more cows than people, so I can't help pick out a new brew every time I hit a liquor store. From the bottle I generally bring home a local brew from a place called The Shed. If I'm at a bar, I'll usually go with a t...

How to grow veggies indoors?

Hi everyone! So I'm kind of new to having a home to live in other than a dormitory because I just graduated college. I was wondering what is a cheap but effective way to grow veggies indoors over the winter? I have about a $50 to $100 budget. I live in Massachusetts so it get very cold, and I want t...
