Re: Where can a person train?

Buy something like Laser Ammo. It works great for training at home and learning where to point-shoot, you can do it anywhere, and no noise.

I have a Judge, and I don't think it would be overkill for your needs. Load 3 chambers with 410, 2 with 45, and you should be covered.

You don't seem quite responsible enough to have a gun close at hand, if this happens normally.

Re: Ukraine unrest

Anyone think this will escalate to the point the US does something, and brings itself into another war?

Re: Wearing MARPAT in public?

Don't be "that military guy" who looks down on those who didn't serve, but realize the value of the equipment and goods that were designed for them. I support our military, and I have a few military surplus bags I use for long trips. I don't feel bad at all about using it. Some of us went down diffe...

Return? What's that? I'm paying for freeloader's healthcare, and anything else the government wants to give out to win votes.

Convincing spouse you're not nuts for prepping...

Long story short, I've been around firearms and lived on a farm my whole life, my spouse is more 'citified' and terrified of guns. I've read a lot of zombie/post-apocalyptic books, and while I know zombies are really just a catalyst for stories and setting up a catalyst for books, I'm always intrigu...

Does anyone have a recommendation as to the best place to order MRE's, as far as price / quality / quantity?

Re: Help with my zombie book....

If it were me and you want it make this story somewhat believable in this genre, I wouldn't make it some regular kid who figures out how to hack the nanobots. It would read like a story not thought out well.

If you insist in having a kid be the hero, he needs to be Rainman-ish.

I have a Taurus 651that I love. Smooth trigger, not too heavy, and about $600 brand new.

Re: Is it Ok to like Taurus yet?

I bought a Taurus 651 .357 and a Judge about a month or so ago, and have had no issues. The .357 doesn't kick as bad as I thought, and I was hitting bullseyes with .45 in the Judge at 20 yards all day.
