Central New York. Syracuse. The city is cool to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

But you have to give him credit, he went in and held it together in the sick ward just about single handed. him breaking down in the cell was a touching moment. Single legedly. :D In all seriousness...I really did love the scene with Maggie and Herschel. Being a father of two daughters, I could rel...

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

If we can have Sharknado! , I'm hoping Hippopocalyse! to be part of SyFy's 2014 line up. Seriously, this movie needs to be made. Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the zoo..... Let it roll...How about Hippopocalypse meets Swamp People: Just when you thought it was safe to go back to th...

Re: American Blackout

Watching a show on National Geographic just now and saw an advertisement for a show titled 'American Blackout' supposedly coming this month. Anyone else see it? I figure it has two options. A) Be a pretty interesting show/series. B) Be an absolute bucket of mega ultra fail in the true fashion of 'D...

Re: The Shining

I read the book and quite a bit later watched the movie. I almost couldn't finish the movie because the mother character annoyed me so much with how whiny she was the whole time. Wendy was COMPLETELY different. Disgustingly different. VERY cool talk, AND I even got one of the signed copies! Sweet, ...

Re: The Shining

I finished The Shining yesterday. It was really good. I'm kind of glad that The movie was WAY different, because if they tried doing it by the book, and leaving certain things out, or just mucking it up, I would have been more upset. You realize he's written a sequel, right? I'm going to listen to h...

The Shining

Almost half way through it. I like it more than Kubricks movie adaptation. I love the movie in its own way though.

Anybody else read it?
