Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

Terminus was the original name for Atlanta. But in this case, it does appear to be in Macon. Scott Gimple seems to love him some foreshadowing, such as when Michonne was looking at Macon on her map in 30 Days Without An Accident . :ooh: http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/af242/boomslang45/thewalki...

Re: Grey Fox

I thought it would be longer and I wished it was longer because it is just that good! For the people who preferred book 1 and 2 to book 3 this is heaven. I hope JL writes some more along these lines. I agree completely. Great quick read it left me wanting more. When is the next novel coming out JL ...

The Walking Dead Escape - NYC, USS Intrepid

Anyone ever do one of these obstacle courses? Anyone plan on going to this? We should make a ZS team!

Re: New Holsters from Gun Nut 2k1

Yeah for leather I've yet to find anything to beet the quality of his work. I have leather from Galco, High Noon, Desantis, etc. I'd rank these right there with the top brands for leather. Do you think they are that good? I ordered 2 holsters - glock 19 & 20. While the holsters were ok, I don't thi...

Re: CRKT m16 worth the money?

I think for the money it's a great utility knife. I have carried one form of it or another for years on patrol. You don't have to be worried about beating it up or misplacing it. It can take abuse. I've used them for pry bars and window breakers with no problems. I also gutted a deer with one. That ...

Union county- you?

I'm in Orange County, NY. Close to the Woodbury Commons outlets if you are familiar with them.

Re: Suggestions on a GHB, the physical bag itself.

Check out the Gregory Z30. It can carry up to 30 pounds of gear. I've tested it out and I'm going to pick one up for myself. Great suspension - the bag doesn't even touch your back.

Re: Scope Recommendations

Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 4x32. Runs about $100 or just under. Optics are high quality. My Prostaff 4x on my heavy barrel 10/22 has taken a beating and still works great. Ditto the same model scope on my Remington 504. 4x is plenty for a 22 LR. I can put five shots into a dime at 25M with this scope i...

Disease was my first thought too. And, as I hadn't really gotten to see much in the way of previews (still haven't seen the trailer, need to get on that), my second thought was weather. It was posted a couple of pages back, but here ya go (unless you can't play the youtubez for some reason): http:/...

Oddly enough, the only place I regularly hear this rhetoric is on the Internet. And I do understand what you are saying IRT the attitude making the difference. Only thing I can say is not everyone on the job is as naturally fucking awesome at it as I am. Well this thread has gotten interesting in a...

Way way overboard! Stag Arms Model 7 - 6.8 SPC, Nikon Monarch 3x12, Larue tactical LT104 scope mount, 200 rounds federal fusion MSR ammo -6.8 SPC. Sometimes you just got to take care of yourself!

Re: Kel Tec Sub 2000 9mm Carbine

Try finding a Sub-2000. They are really hard to get now. I did have one in .40 that was really fun to shoot, sold it, might pick one in 9mm up if I ever find one again for a reasonable price. And over $400 is not reasonable. Fun little carbine, IMO it's the only PCC that actually makes sense. At th...

Kel Tec Sub 2000 9mm Carbine

I've been kicking around the idea of picking up one of these carbines up for a while. Does anyone have any experience with them? I carry a glock 19 so I would be interested in getting the G19 version of the sub 2000. They also make a G17 version but my 19 mags would not fit because the mag well woul...
