Re: Re: Requesting Pros Cons of the Glock 21 vs the Glock 22

Ignoring my post then? ~sent via spacearmadillogram~ Honestly I was. I've had no issues qualifying a 100 score at night. I've practiced extensively at night because not only am I required to qualify at night but that is when I feel I am most likely to be involved in lethal force encounter. Finally ...

Re: Requesting Pros Cons of the Glock 21 vs the Glock 22

Ever shot that 23c in the dark or very low light? I have heard from many people that the flash is pretty bad. I have never fired any compensated pistol myself. How bad is it? Anyone that says that has never shot one. With the V style type porting you never even see any flash. Any that comes out of ...

Re: Requesting Pros Cons of the Glock 21 vs the Glock 22

I'll be the first to agree that a 40cal Glock isn't controllable for everyone. I've yet to find a person that if they could handle the recoil of a 9mm Glock couldn't also handle my 23C in rapid fire. Their is a lot going for the 22C or 23C.

Re: Requesting Pros Cons of the Glock 21 vs the Glock 22

As the title states, I'm in the market for a new glock. The flat dark earth gen 4's are just too good looking to pass up. I'm trying to choose between the glock 22 and the glock 21. I have a beretta m9 with hogues that fits nicely in my hands, I also like smith and wesson magna grips. Both these pi...

Re: Is it Ok to like Taurus yet?

Personally I got screwed over on a 38 revolver from them and will never buy another Taurus again. I will look at one and handle it at a show or store but that is it. Just based on handling recent copies I see no improvement in QC from them.

Re: Debating on selling my Mini 30

If you want to shoot cheap ammo then just sell it and get an AK. It isn't that hard to find an accurate one. I'm not a big fan of the Ruger Mini 30 and feel anything done in an attempt to accurize it is just money wasted that could have been put towards an AK or extra ammo for a rifle you already own.

Re: Guess it's time to stop carrying every day...

Some of you have high paying jobs that sound like they require you to have some education or skills yet can't find another job? Frankly I don't advocate anyone breaking any law but I do advocate you looking for another job. Yeah you gotta pay the bills and have money to live but the last time I chec...

Re: .357 SIG vs. .40 S&W vs. .357 magnum

I love the idea of .357 SIG I'm just debating cause I can buy 500rds of .40 ammo for the same price as the barrel and if they will both do the same job it's not worth it The exact reason I still have not gotten a 357sig barrel for my 23C. I'll only buy one if I can find one I want dirt cheap. I do ...

Re: Limiting your Cache to Three Calibers...

I go kinda the opposite direction. I go for versatility (my brother and brother in law both concentrate on a few calibers) I collected firearms way before starting to prep and I have over 30 different calbers, so it sorta made sense to continue with the versatility. gets really pricey 'tho'. I have...

Re: Rumor: Single-stack glock at SHOT 2013

Leper, I normally carry a full size 1911 at work. I'm big enough that I can conceal it in my normal office/warehouse clothes. The reason I wan't something smaller than glock offers now is because I can't conceal anything they make right now when I'm dressed up for my sales route. I only really have...

Re: Competitive options to the Glock 23

Personally I'd get the 23. That said I suggest you get whatever feels the best in your hand. If the Sig feels best get the Sig. If the HK feels best then get the HK. Frankly I think Sig has gone nuts in their pricing and HK has never cared about the US civilian market. Both have high resale and ever...

Re: Trijicon on Glocks?

My various opinions of things here... 1. Night sights are the solution to a problem that doesn't exist. 2. If you can't see your sights you probably cannot see your target. I can live with or without night sights. For an offensive or defensive gun a light is 1oox more important. 3. Trijicon brand I ...

Re: GLOCK survival kit

I assume you are talking about a gen3 or earlier gun? First off I'd suggest getting away from the factory captured recoil spring assembly. Glock recommends changing it out at 3000 rounds but I've had issues right before that. Wolff recoil springs I tested and found were generally reliable to about 6...

Re: Rumor: Single-stack glock at SHOT 2013

I still don't understand the fascination with a possible single stack Glock. I've yet to be in a life and death situation wishing I had less ammo capacity. I'm small framed and yet have no problems concealing a compact (23c) Glock. If you need a smaller grip Glock already has that. It's called the g...

Re: New PCC, the TNW Aero Survival Rifle

I have been thinking of something like this for some time for my wife. She does not think she can handle my shotguns and won't even touch my AR or AK. I'm not a guinea pig though. I'll wait for some reviews and for it to be in users hands first.

Re: AR-15 Newbie

Ok, a little background. I own a single firearm at the moment, a 9mm hand gun, I have fired it every weekend for the past two years and feel somewhat comfortable with it. I am looking at getting a rifle and have decided on the AR-15, and have done ~15 hours of reading online. This has given me just...

Re: Getting Ammo Online

My usual suspects for online ammo are: http://www.sgammo.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; These two and gun shows are where I buy all my ammo now. SGammo I especially like because they tend to get hard...
