Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

The storyline seems to have improved and they are trying to match to the comics a bit more.

Re: K9 First-Aid fail

BTW if you ever want a giant breed of dog that will: follow you around everywhere, shake the ground when he comes running at you, eat two pounds of food a day, leave a pattern of slobber on a 12' ceiling and every wall in your house, be capable of running down and killing game as large as woodchuck...

Re: Nashville mad shooter

I have to given my response to such a situation a lot of thought over the years. IMO my response would be very situational dependent. I just want to point out the one thing that people forget. It is that if you are on a vehicle you have a great means of reacting if the douche is anywhere near a str...

Re: NEw LAPG 60L backpack. SALE $45!

6lbs isn't bad for a 60L pack with all these amenities. Looks like a good deal. Don't recall off the top of my head the sizes it covers though. That might be an issue for me as I'm a 21". My son is 5'1" now and the pack out of the box fit just right in the torso. Once I load it up I may adjust the ...

Re: NEw LAPG 60L backpack. SALE $45!

My son got his last night and we went through it. That scrunchy material around the lower zip makes it tricky to use. I assume its to allow some form of expansion for the lower pocket if you have bulky sleeping gear. Top has some small straps to lash gear down. Not big enough for a sleeping bag more...

I too asked about pack weight. The deal ends tonight so I am just going to buy the thing for my son and be done with it.

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

I am still wondering about the conversation between Jadis and Simon. Solar panels and a helipad out back, plus she dropped the weird speech pattern. Wonder if the Heapsters had pulled a Wakanda on everyone and have access to some awesome stuff. Of course she likely has no people left but could offer...

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

I think Daryl is done. His arc has no where else to go and they sort of teased his demise with the conversation he had with Michonne in the trash truck. If that was the mid season finale he doesn't have the brick for the accelerator and just drives it all the way in. Obviously the teaser on Talking ...

Re: North Korea Saber Rattling

I just a headline that said a NorK EMP attack would wipe out 90% of the US population. I am not going to post the article because it is really too painfully ignorant to read. Still the hyperbolic exaggeration and panic is interesting. Did this "article" claim the deaths would be the direct r...

Re: Hawaii and Seattle Seek to Prepare for Nuclear Attack

I ask this second question because IMO NORK is more likely to have a fucked up launch and hit an unintended target than it is to have a success on target hit. I wonder if the weapon malfunctions if you get more of a dirty bomb effect rather than a big boom? You would think it would not arm fully un...
