First off I would go for medical, food, and water. Medical can be improvised from clean towels to having a long bolt can be handy for a tourniquet. I took wilderness EMT just before I was injured and hands down it is an amazing improvisation building course. If the members want it I can start a thre...

Something is wrong with ZS and the tapatalk app. It allows me to access the forums but it isn't allowing me to load up the participated topics. Could one of you guys contact tapatalk and see why the forum isn't loading participated topics to the tapatalk server?

Thanks guys,
BC

What are you trying to stop? How much coverage? What size (larger sizes will be more expensive and heavier, and may not be offered in some models) I want at least up to a .44 mag and full size coverage in 2XL. I'm real broad shouldered and the XL will fit but it doesn't offer enough coverage on the...

I decommissioned my ABA and once I have my spinal fusion in a few weeks and get through rehab I am going to need a much lighter BPV. Any suggestions? I still want a IIIA under the new standard and concealable but I need it to have quite a bit of weight and bulk drop. I'm not too worried about extend...

Heck you wanna go that wild just give me a battleship. Any will do just needs big guns and ammo, food, water, power, better run smooth, and can handle some tequila every now and then http://img.tapatalk.com/ae835395-1a74-fc4e.jpg Or just send me Mchale's navy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llyJ3p3Q...

On another forum that has taken me very seriously I have been given the idea of razor wire. I am thinking two sets of coiled strands of razor wire is going to bump up the height of my fence and offer quite a deterrent.

Okay, maybe I'm a little confused here; let me break this up into a list: 1. In this total SHTF situation you have laid out for these cats to escape, do you think your firefighter buddies are going to spend time away from more pressing matters like saving entire city/town blocks and/or their own fa...

Flare gun, maybe? I would think the noise and light would scare away pretty much anything on four legs. Lightweight, not much recoil. Not sure how expensive they are, but I think a marine (boating supply) store would have them. The only problem with that is that because I live in Florida and how dr...

Heres a serious try. For your sound idea try out looking for a bird cannon. They are used to keep birds out of orchards and vineyards in Europe. http://birdcannon.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; When running they sound like a 50 cal Ma duce. To protect your livestock the best be...

Ok you can call me whatever you want but that makes no difference regardless if you think I am lying or not. Lets see what you broke down. Yeah I brought up a wild gun with a rifle chambered single shot bottom. It was just an idea. I had no idea of its effectiveness or not and That's why I brought i...

45-70 is a great round, and you don't need "very hot loaded rounds". For the thin skinned animals you're talking about, something like the 300 grain Fusion, Winchester Supreme Elite 375grain Bonded, or the Hornady LEVERevolution 325 grain would work just fine. Big cats aren't cape Buffalo's. You ne...
