I bought a mp220 last year and enjoy it so far. I had the stock shortened for trigger pull and a recoil pad added. Still plan on doing some odds and ends but nothing is really needed.

Coach guns break down easily, but you already have that covered with the AR. Coach guns are sexy, isn't that enough reason? +1 on sexy, lol Here is mine. I opted for a hammerless desgn though. The cover was handmade for my stock. http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k232/Dahrkstorm/Home/08F7A5BF.jpg

$37.79 for a 250rd case of TulAmmo BrassMAXX.

$0.15 a round! WTF!?! Damn...
On top of that it appears that it doesn't always cycle automatics reliably.

Looking carefully I would say that is a shelf with a front lip and sides, not a hood. Although I could be mistaken.

Been many years since I have been on Okinawa, but I did love the 3 1/2 years I spent there. The Hills people rig seems a bit more tactical than I think you are looking for. The Ribz looks like a good "civvie" hiking kit. I can't speak from experience on either though, just from a my perception of ho...

Re: Best flashlight for under $60?

On a slight topic veer, I am looking for a LED flashlight with tailcap switch that will fit in minimaglight pouches, I have several pouches (nylon and leather) that I don't want to replace for various reasons. Any suggestions? Would prefer to stay AA, but I'm willing to look at CR123 also.

Last year I picked up a Samick Sage 30 lb take-down recurve bow for my 13 y/o daughter. She loves it and is pretty accurate to date. She is working her way back in distance maintaining her accuracy as she goes. She stops when gets out of a 6" circle until she can consistently bring it back in. I'm n...

Well all the tools that will be in there are decent enough quality, but I won't cry if the go away. They are just for use away from home, I keep the good stuff locked and secure at home or work. The lock is really just to keep honest people honest and let me know if someone dishonest has been about....

Also slime is terrible to "pre treat" wheels with. It'll harden up and then put your tire off balance. It'll do in a pinch but leave it in the bottle, not the tire, until you need it Actually that is not what the warning label specifies. It states that "WARNING: Slime is a temporary repair when use...

I personally have a dual-purpose, enduro, whatever you want to call in my motor pool. It is a 2007 Yamaha XT-225, the last year they made the 225 actually. Got an email from these guys, http://www.gumcreekcustoms.com/cart.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , promoting their vehicular mounted carry systems. Everything 10% off today. I haven't used them but it is an interesting set up if legal in your AO.
