Re: Firearms Chat 5: #pewpewlife

Here in AZ it's that way. SHow your CCW pay your money and walk out with your new gun. Its absolutely wonderful when you are at a gun show and the background check system is down so every dealer is dying to make a deal to anyone that they can sell too at that point just to not walk away from the sho...

Re: Firearms Chat 4: #pewpewlife

I have two of the Hornady sonic cleaners. The small one that Rifle bolts and disassembled pistols go in and the Large one that an entire AR upper fits in. I highly recommend them. I used to run all my brass thru them but since I switched to a wet rotary rock tumbler there is no need to do a cleaning...

Re: Firearms Chat 4: #pewpewlife

Suppose you were authorized to buy a new pistol. It will be primarily for concealed carry (Because the HK45c is sometimes too much), it must be 9mm to be compatible with the wife's Glock 19, a Glock would be nice to share magazines with the wife and every other crazed Glock fanatic out there. What ...

Re: Press therapy - reloading room *chat*

I built a bench out of 44x posts for legs and 2x4 frame and top that was supposed to be my wife's garden bench but I re-appropriated it for reloading in the living room.

Re: Firearms Chat 4: #pewpewlife

AFFES here does it electronically with a touch screen signature. First time I bought a firearm there it shocked the hell out of me as everywhere else in town still uses the printed forms and hands you a pen to fill them out.

Re: Press therapy - reloading room *chat*

Sorry guys I have not shipped the brass yet. A buddy of mine just got out after the end of his enlistment and brought me a huge Rubbermaid tub of fired brass he had been picking up every time her went shooting so I am going thru that as I know there is some 10mm in it and not sure about the rest yet...

Re: Press therapy - reloading room *chat*

SRO,

Send me a PM and I will ship you the 357 Sig, and 38 Super I have at no cost. I'm just trying to clean out the extra casings I have picked up that I have no use for.

Any one else reload 45 GAP. I Just realized I have some of that too.

Re: Press therapy - reloading room *chat*

shoot me your address in a PM and I will send it to you free of cost. Its just taking up space here and not something I will ever use so I figured I would pass it onto members here that could use it. I think there are only 10-15 10mm casings so no big deal. If you want the 38 Super and 357 sig as we...

Re: Firearms Chat 4: #pewpewlife

I'm also looking to assemble a AR-9 from PSA on a Glock mag lower some time this year for fun. I've been wanting to do this as well - you should keep us posted on how it goes when I get around to that project I will definitely keep you updated. Right now I have put all gun projects on hold for a co...

Re: Firearms Chat 4: #pewpewlife

Chimp, Thanks for the info on the Kris Vector mags. Damn that's pricy though. I may have to get one just to try it out any way. MPMalloy, I personally have about 200 rounds thru the JRC 9mm. However the kids and family and friends probably have well over 1500 thru it. Most of it a mixture of fmj, ha...

Re: Press therapy - reloading room *chat*

Any one reloading 10mm, 38 Super, or 357 Sig? I ask because I have casings in all three of those calibers that I picked up from my shooting area and I don't load any of them or even have a firearm or a friend with one chambered for them.

Re: Firearms Chat 4: #pewpewlife

Ok so I'm late to the party on this one and just catching up. I have a two just right carbine chambered in 9mm and 45acp that takes Glock mags. for a few dollars I can get an additional quick to change out mag well that would allow them to take S&W M&P mags as well. I went with the Glock mag wells a...

Re: Press therapy - reloading room *chat*

Ok so earlier I was in one of my favorite gun shops here and I saw a reloaded rubber bullet. The bullet was a 38spl molded with the rubber glue from a hot glue gun no powder charge and primed with a small magnum pistol primer. The guy said he put a dent in his wooden door o his shed at 15 yards with...

Re: Press therapy - reloading room *chat*

I don't find issues between my ammo fired from either the a AR'S I have or the M249. fired casings seem to be identical on inspection.

Re: Firearms Chat 4: #pewpewlife

Well shit I have never thought about trading ammo for a rifle. I have so many full 50cal milsup ammo cans lying around full of reloads because I reload a hell of a lot more than I shoot especially since everyone else leaves their brass lying around that just adds to my piles of available brass to re...

Re: Firearms Chat 4: #pewpewlife

So I purchased my first Glock under the blue label program. I decided to go with the Gen4 G35 MOS version. So next month I will most likely go with the Gen4 G41 MOS version. Nice, Zobmiedown. I still wish I had gone with the G41 MOS version when I bought my G41. I don't need any more handguns but s...

Re: Firearms Chat 4: #pewpewlife

JRC does not currently make a 10mm carbine or a conversion kit for them. They may in the future but its not a current option. I have JRC carbines in both 9mm and 45ACp with plans to add a 40S&W. They also make takedown models in various flavors. As far as adding the pearce magazine extenders I have ...

Re: Firearms Chat 4: #pewpewlife

So I just got off the phone with the Glock Blue Label department at Glock. Turns out I do qualify to purchase two pistols a year at the discounted Blue Label prices. Now to figure out what I want this year. I already have two Gen 4 G19's one Gen 4 G21 and a Gen 3 Glock Factory Restored G23. So maybe...
